Setting Up Your FX3100
Step One: Install SIM Cards
Insert a Nano SIM card into the appropriate SIM slot on the back of the device. Ensure the SIM card's notch is inserted first, with the contact points facing down. The device only supports Nano SIM cards.
Step Two: Power On the FX3100
Plug the power cord into the router's power port and connect the power adapter to an AC wall outlet. Use only the provided power adapter to avoid voiding the warranty.
Step Three: Identify a Location for Your FX3100
Scan the QR code or visit https://inseego.com/products/cloud-management/inseego-mobile-app/#available-now to download the Inseego Mobile™ app. Follow the app's instructions to connect to the FX3100 and perform a location survey to find the ideal placement.
After the location survey, you may be prompted to create a free Inseego Connect account for remote monitoring and configuration. You will need to register your device using the current Admin password (found on the bottom label of the FX3100, unless changed). Restart the device after registration.

- Click 'Connect' or select the network name.
- Enter the Primary Wi-Fi password, also printed on the bottom of the router.
You can change the default network name and password later by referring to the "Monitoring and managing your FX3100" section.
