Introduction to RF30 Radio

The RF30 is a versatile, full-band portable radio featuring FM stereo, AM, and SW reception. It includes a PLL tuning system for precise station locking, a built-in MP3 player supporting playback from TF cards and USB drives, and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming. The device also functions as a digital voice recorder, saving audio in WAV format. It is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and can also be powered via an external DC adapter. The radio offers a clear LCD display and intuitive controls for ease of use.

Installation Instructions

Playback Settings

Playback Mode: Press 'MODE' to cycle through Radio, MP3, Bluetooth, and AUX modes.
Song Navigation (MP3): Turn the tuning knob to skip to the next or previous song.
Volume Control: Use the 'REC VOLUME' knob or the main volume knob.
Pause/Play: Press the 'REC' button to pause or resume playback.
Delete File: While in MP3 mode, press and hold the 'DEL' button to delete the current song.

Radio Mode Operation

Band Selection: Press the 'AM/SW' button to switch between AM and SW bands. Press the 'FM STEREO' button to switch to FM band.

Tuning:

Manual Tuning: Turn the tuning knob to scan for stations.
Automatic Station Search (Scan): Press and hold the tuning knob for a few seconds to automatically scan and store available stations. Press the tuning knob briefly to cycle through stored stations.

Volume Adjustment: Use the main volume knob.

Seeking Stations: Press the tuning knob briefly to seek the next strong station.

Recording Operation

To record, press the 'REC' button. The 'REC' indicator will light up, and the recording time will be displayed. To stop recording, press the 'REC' button again. The recording will be saved as a WAV file on the TF card or USB drive. Ensure a storage device is inserted.

Managing Recording Files

To play back recordings, ensure a storage device with recorded files is inserted. Press the 'MODE' button until the 'REC PLAYER' indicator appears. Use the tuning knob to select a recording file. Press the 'REC' button to play or pause the recording. To delete a recording file, navigate to it and press and hold the 'DEL' button.

External Audio Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 'AUX IN' jack using a 3.5mm audio cable. Press the 'MODE' button until the 'AUX' indicator appears on the LCD. The radio will now play audio from the connected device. Use the volume knob to adjust the sound.
