Smart Technology

Leverage MyQ® Technology to monitor and control facility operators through a mobile app. The Grid View allows for efficient monitoring of all doors within the facility. Receive real-time alerts via email or push notifications. Connectivity requires the purchase of an Internet Gateway (828LM) or MyQ Home Bridge (819LMB), sold separately.

Safety and Security

Security+ 2.0® safeguards facility access with rolling code technology, ensuring only registered devices can open the door. The Timer-to-Close feature can be programmed to automatically close the door after a set duration. The Commercial Protector System™ provides auto-reversal if an entrapment protection device detects an obstruction. As per UL 325 standards, all commercial door operators must be either constant pressure to close or equipped with a primary external monitored entrapment device.

The Logic 5.0 operator supports various monitored entrapment protection devices:

• Commercial Photo Eyes: For indoor use, NEMA 1 rated, with a maximum range of 30 ft.
• Retro-Reflective Photo Eye: Features a photo eye and reflector with a polarized beam; suitable for indoor/outdoor use, NEMA 4X rated, with a maximum range of 50 ft.
• Dual-Sided Photo Eyes: Equipped with flexible rubber housings that resist water spray and corrosion; for indoor/outdoor use, NEMA 4X rated, with a maximum range of 45 ft.
• Commercial Protector System: Heavy-duty industrial housings; for indoor/outdoor use, NEMA 4 rated, with a maximum range of 45 ft.
• Optical Edge System: Infrared optical sensors housed in a customizable rubber enclosure, protected against water; for indoor/outdoor use, NEMA 6 rated, with a maximum range of 33 ft.

Non-Monitored Entrapment Protection

For additional safety, the operator can utilize:

• Light Curtain: Provides 36 inches of increased zone coverage for enhanced protection; indoor use, with a maximum range of 33 ft.
