4 - Graphs
4.1 - ON/OFF Hysteresis
This graph illustrates the hysteresis band for heat pump operation. In heating mode, the heat pump turns ON at P02 and OFF at a slightly lower temperature. In cooling mode, it turns OFF at P02 and ON at a slightly lower temperature. The setpoint is indicated by P130.
4.2 - Operating Range of Heat Pump/Backup Heating
This graph shows the operational zones based on outdoor air temperature (OAT). The x-axis represents OAT, with thresholds at P40 (-20°C) and P12 (0°C). The graph depicts ranges for "Backup heating only", "Heat pump + backup heating", and "Heat pump only".
Note: Heat pump operation is prevented if OAT is below the stop threshold (P40). Only backup heating is authorized in this condition.
4.3 - Climatic Curve (Heating Mode)
This graph illustrates the relationship between return water setpoint and outdoor air temperature for heating mode. The curve is defined by parameters like P105 (maximum setpoint), P106 (minimum setpoint), P120, P121, and P130 (setpoint).
4.4 - Antifreeze Function
This diagram shows the conditions for activating the antifreeze function. The function is activated below P31 and deactivated above P32. When active, the unit may enter a forced function for water heating or operate normally, depending on the return water temperature (RWT).
4.5 - 0-10V Control
These graphs illustrate how a 0-10V signal can influence the heat pump's setpoint. The "Thermal load" graph (P150 = 1) shows how the setpoint (P130) is adjusted based on the 0-10V signal and parameters P151 and P106. The "Setpoint command" graph (P150 = 2) shows a linear relationship between the 0-10V signal and the return water setpoint for heating and cooling modes, defined by parameters like P105, P106, P131, and P132.
Example: If P151 = 5°C and the 0-10V signal is 6V (60%), the adjustment (Z) is 5°C * 60% = 3°C.
Note: Graphs for zone 1 apply similarly to zone 2 with corresponding parameters.
4.6 - Return Water Minimum Temperature Protection
This graph illustrates the return water minimum temperature protection. If the return water temperature (RWT) drops below P52 (default 15°C), the heat pump is disabled, and backup heating is activated. If RWT is above P52, the heat pump is enabled.
Note: This safety feature prevents the heat pump from operating if the return water temperature is below the heating authorization threshold (P52). If backup heating is not installed (P09 = 0), this protection is inactive. The display will show "RWT < P52" when the heat pump stops due to this condition.
