Install Software
- Insert the provided CD disk into CD-ROM drive.
- Double-click “XXX_VX.XX.exe" (X can be 0 to 9 or blank, indicating the software version).
- The pop-up windows will guide you through the program setup process.
Main Screen
The main screen displays measurement data and provides controls for the software. The primary display area shows the 'Cp' (Capacitance) as '1.7 pF' and 'D' (Dissipation Factor) as '0.106' at '1KHz'. A data table lists measurements with columns including 'NO', 'Time', 'MMode', 'MValue', 'MUnit', 'SMode', 'SValue', 'SUnit', and 'Freq'. A line graph visualizes 'Value' against 'Record Number'.
Key indicators are:
- [1] Main display screen of measurement.
- [2] Secondary display screen for measurement (shows all measurement data).
- [3] A blinking indicator [?] signifies successful connection to the software.
- [4] Represents the graphical display of measurement data.
Using Program
To begin measurements, click the "Connection" button. A blinking indicator [?] confirms a successful connection between the meter and the PC, after which the meter will automatically start taking measurements. The primary display shows the current measurement, while the secondary display lists all collected data.
Software Controls and Features
The software offers various controls for managing measurement data and display:
- [?] Zoom: Allows magnification of data or graphs.
- [?️] Print data: Prints the current measurement data.
- [?] Save data: Saves measurement data in formats like *.txt, *.xls, or *.xml.
- [?] Open files: Opens previously saved data files (*.txt, *.xls, *.xml).
- [?️] Deleting current data: Clears existing data to start a new measurement session.
Repeat Function:
When the "Repeat" option is checked, all measurements are displayed according to the set interval. If unchecked, the secondary display will only show measurement results that differ from the last recorded temperature. The graph display will always show the complete measurement results, regardless of the "Repeat" setting.
Sampling Interval:
This setting allows users to define the time interval between measurements, ranging from 1 to 9999 seconds.
Data Limit Note:
A warning message will appear, and measurements will stop when the data reaches 10,000 sets (measurement No.). It is recommended to save or clear the current measurement data before proceeding with new measurements.
Graph Display Controls
The graph display area includes several controls for navigation and data management:
- [?] Zoom graphic: Zooms into the graph display.
- [?] Save graph: Saves the current graph view as a BMP image file.
- [?️] Deleting current data: Clears existing data and prepares for new measurements.
- [⏪] First page: Navigates to the beginning of the data.
- [◀️] Previous page: Moves to the preceding page of data.
- [Current Page Indicator] Current page: Shows the currently viewed page.
- [▶️] Next page: Moves to the subsequent page of data.
- [⏩] Last page: Navigates to the end of the data.
- [⚙️] Set numbers of measurement data on graph display: Configures how many data points are displayed on the graph.
