1 Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

WARNING

Only use the USB Cable that was supplied with this Fan.

Consumers are cautioned against trying to replace the battery. Using and/or purchasing counterfeit and/or inferior quality batteries have the potential to cause fire, personal injury, and/or damage to property. These batteries are typically found on online-auction websites or from other retailers, and are known to pose a potential safety risk.

At the end of the fan's life, it must be disposed of correctly. Contact your local waste management authority for more information on Battery Recycling and disposal regulations in your area.

This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances or batteries as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local council for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. 3 Instructions for Use

3.1 Charging the Fan

Read the Safety Instruction first.

IMPORTANT: This Fan contains a built-in lithium ion battery which must only be charged using the supplied USB cable.

Always switch off and unplug the USB cable when charging is completed or when not in use.

If any abnormality occurs during charging, (such as a burning smell or excessive heat or even a strange sound) immediately turn off the charger and disconnect the USB cable, then contact the service department for assistance.

During charging, the lights on the front of the fan handle will illuminate as follows:

Indicator Status Description
Lights ON (all 4) Charged Capacity 100% Fully Charged
Lights Blinking (4 lights, then 3, then 2, then 1) Charged Capacity ≥76% - 100%
Lights Blinking (3 lights) Charged Capacity ≥51% - 75%
Lights Blinking (2 lights) Charged Capacity ≥26% - 50%
Lights Blinking (1 light) Charged Capacity ≤25%
Lights OFF Charging Complete / Not Charging

3.2 On / Off

To Turn the fan on, press the On / Off button located on the front top of the handle.
To turn Off, Press the On / Off Button again.

3.3 Speed Control

Each press of the On / Off button will increase the speed of the fan as follows:

Note: The default speed setting when first switched on is "Low" Speed.

Button Presses Fan Speed
Press the Speed Button one time Medium Fan Speed
Press the Speed Button two times High Fan Speed
Press the Speed Button three times Low Fan Speed

Press the Speed Button again to cycle back around to Speed Setting "Medium” and so on.

3.4 Desk Stand

During Charging or whilst using at your desk, you can place the fan into the stand for handsfree operation.

3.5 Battery Level Indication

During use, the indicator lights just above the On/Off Switch will illuminate and indicate the battery charge state.

The light sequence displayed indicates the following:

Indicator Lights Remaining Battery Charge
(4 solid lights) ≥76% - 100%
(3 solid lights) ≥51% - 75%
(2 solid lights) ≥26% - 50%
(1 solid light) ≤25%

This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase and contact Kmart Customer Service Centre 1800 124 125 (Australia) or 0800 945 995 (New Zealand) or alternatively, via Customer Help at Kmart.com.au for any difficulties with your product. Warranty claims and claims for expense incurred in returning this product can be addressed to our Customer Service Centre at 690 Springvale Rd, Mulgrave Vic 3170.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.
