safety warnings and operating instructions carefully 2.0 GETTING STARTED · Remove the sound system from the box · Remove any packaging from the product · Place the packaging inside the box and either or dispose of safely 3.0 SAFETY AND NOTICE Read and understand all instructions before you use this product If damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, the warranty does not apply WARNING · Never remove the casing of the unit · Never lubricate any part of the unit · Never place the unit on other electrical equipment · Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, naked flames or heat · Never look into the laser beam inside the unit · Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adaptor to disconnect the unit from the power SAFETY 1 Read these USB Press to select USB input 4 SD Press to select SD Card input 5 VOLUME+ Press to increase the volume 6 Press to skip to previous track 7 VOLUMEPress to Decrease volume 8 OPT Press to select Optical input 9 MUTE Press to Mute/Unmute 10 AUX Press to select AUX Input 11 LINE IN Press to select Line Input 12 Press to Pause/Play 13 Press to skip to next track 11 7.0 REPLACING BATTERY The remote control works with lithium button cell CR2025 3V batteries When the remote no longer works you need to replace the batteries as follows: · Press the tab on the side of the battery cover to release it and allow the battery support to come out · Replace the battery paying attention to the correct orientation of the poles · Replace the battery support pushing it inside until you hear a "click" ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if batteries are not inserted correct 8.0 GETTING STARTED POWER CAUTION: · Risk of product damage! Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back label · Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord always pull the plug from the socket Never pull the cord · Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure you have completed all other connections 12 Place the unit in the desired position and unravel the mains cable Insert the cable into the supply socket and switch on if applicable AUTO STAND-BY To save power, the Soundbar automatically switches to stand-by if: · No Audio is available from the connected input for more than 10 minutes · When the unit is power ON INPUT MODE SELECTION The LED will turn red in Standby mode, press the remote power button or the power button on the Soundbar to turn OFF Stand-by mode Th red LED will turn OFF indicating the unit is no longer in Stand-by mode 9.0 CONNECTING TO EXTERNAL AUDIO DEVICES OPTICAL INPUT (REQUIRES AN OPTICAL CABLE, NOT PROVIDED) 1 Connect an Optical cable to the optical input on the back panel of the Soundbar Connect the other end of the Optical cable to the digital audio device 2 Press the button to turn the unit on 3 Press the MODE button repeatedly until the LED above LIN/OPT turns green 13 LINE INPUT (REQUIRES A 3.5MM CABLE, PROVIDED) 1 Connect a 35mm cable to the line input on the control panel of the Soundbar Connect the other end of the 35mm cable to an MP3 player or other compatible audio device 2 Press the button to turn the unit on 3 Press the MODE button repeatedly until the LED above LIN/OPT turns yellow 4 Use the controls on the connected device to begin playing audio via the sound system AUXILIARY INPUT (REQUIRES RCA CABLE, PROVIDED) 1 Connect an RCA cable to the AUX Input on the back panel of the Soundbar Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the audio output on your DVD player, gaming system, television or other compatible equipment 2 Press the power button to turn the unit on 3 Press the MODE button repeatedly until the LED above AUX turns green 4 Use the controls on the connected device to begin playing audio via the sound system USB/SD CARD INPUT (REQUIRES USB/SD CARD NOT PROVIDED) 1 Plug your USB flash drive or SD card into the USB socket or SD slot on the control panel of the Soundbar 2 Press Mode button until the LED above USB/SD turns green or yellow Green shows USB input is selected and yellow shows SD card input is selected Files should start playing automatically after input selection If not, press 3 Press the / to select track 14 4 Press the VOL+/VOL to adjust the volume NOTE: Maximum 32GB USB or SD card storage is supported PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH A. PAIRING WITH A SMART PHONE'S BLUETOOTH Please ensure your smart phone's Bluetooth is turned on Specific pairing steps may vary with different cell phones Please refer to the user manual of your cell phone for further information The general pairing steps are as follows: 1 Keep the sound bar and Bluetooth cell phone within 1 metre of each other when pairing 2 Press button, and press the MODE button multiple times until the sound system enters Bluetooth mode The LED above Bluetooth will turn Blue signaling the unit is ready to be connected via bluetooth 3 Switch ON your smart phone's Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth devices After the search is completed, select "NX-602A" from the Bluetooth device list 4 Depending on the prompt received on your smart phone, enter password or PIN: "0000" and press "Yes" or "confirm" 5 After successful pairing, select "NX-602A" from the Bluetooth device list and press "connect" B.
