How to Wear

1. Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
2. Insert the earbuds into your ears, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.

First Time Use

Place the earbuds in the charging case to begin the initial setup.

Power On & Connect

The earbuds will power on automatically when removed from the charging case.

For Android™ 6.0+ devices: Use Fast Pair to connect. Your JBL Tune Buds will appear on nearby devices.

For Windows 10 V1803+ devices: Use Microsoft Swift Pair. Your JBL Tune Buds will appear in the Bluetooth settings.

General Connection:

• Open the Bluetooth settings on your device.
• Select "JBL TUNE BUDS" to connect.

Dual Connect + Sync

Use both earbuds in Stereo Mode for a full audio experience, or use a single earbud in Mono Mode.

Multi-Point Connection

Connect to two devices simultaneously. Tap once or hold (5s) to manage connections.

Controls

Control your music, calls, and voice assistant with intuitive touch controls:

• Left Earbud (L):
  • Tap x1: ANC / Ambient Aware / TalkThru
  • Tap x2: Next Track
  • Tap x3: Previous Track
  • Hold (2s): Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others)
• Right Earbud (R):
  • Tap x1: Play/Pause
  • Tap x2: Next Track
  • Tap x3: Previous Track
  • Hold (2s): Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others)

*Enable advanced controls and assign voice assistant functionality via the JBL Headphones app.

VoiceAware

Adjust the level of ambient sound you hear with the VoiceAware feature in the JBL Headphones app. Choose between Low, Mid, and High settings.

Power Off

Place the earbuds back into the charging case to power them off.

Factory Reset

To perform a factory reset, tap the earbuds twice and then hold (5s) while they are in the charging case.

Do More with the App

Explore advanced features like:

• Voice Assistant: Customize your voice assistant preferences.
• Gestures: Customize touch control actions.
• Equalizer: Adjust the sound profile with presets like Jazz, Vocal, Bass, Club, Studio, and Extreme Bass.
• Ambient Sound Control: Manage ANC, Ambient Aware, and TalkThru modes.

Charging

Charging the Earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case. A 15-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of playtime. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours for up to 12 hours of music playtime.

Charging the Case: Use the included USB-C cable to charge the case.

LED Behaviors

Earbud LEDs:

• Blue pulsing: Connecting to Bluetooth
• Solid Blue: Bluetooth Connected
• Off: Bluetooth Not Connected

Charging Case LEDs:

• Red: Charging
• Off: Fully Charged
• Flashing Red: Low Battery
