QUICK START GUIDE
What's in the Box?
The MYLAPS X2 Racelink Club package includes:
- 1 x X2 Racelink Club Unit
- 2 x Protector Caps
Optional Accessories:
- RF Antenna Whip
- GPS Antenna
- Antenna Adapter Cable
- RF Antenna Extension Cable - 1M
- M8 Power Cable (Optional Use)
- X2 Racelink Club Charge Cable (USB to M8)
Important Notes:
- The USB port (5V) is only capable of charging the X2 Racelink Club; it cannot send or receive data.
- To ensure the X2 Racelink Club remains water-resistant, verify that either both protector caps are attached or that the antennas are properly connected.
Setup
Power the X2 Racelink Club using the car battery with a fuse (12V only).
Connection Diagram:
The X2 Racelink Club connects to the GPS Antenna and the vehicle's power system. The wiring is as follows:
- RF Antenna: Connects to the RF port on the X2 Racelink Club.
- GPS Antenna: Connects to the GPS port on the X2 Racelink Club.
- CAN Bus: Connects to the vehicle's CAN Bus system (Black wire to CAN-H, White wire to CAN-L).
- Power: Connects to the vehicle's power source (Blue wire to Ground, Brown wire to 12V).
LED Indication
While Charging:

While Used on the Track:
- If the RaceLink Club is activated by Race Control and GPS/RF reception is good, the rightmost LED will be GREEN (mild brightness).
- The LED will be ORANGE (mild brightness) if there is no known GPS position or no RF link to the X2 Race Control system.
- For flag signals displayed on the X2 RaceLink Club LEDs, scan the QR code or visit help.mylaps.com/s/x2-race-control.
Top LED Blinks Twice:
- First blink indicates GPS reception.
- Second blink indicates RF reception.
- If the LED goes solid RED, there is less than 10% battery left (when used as a rechargeable).

If the RaceLink Club is activated by Race Control, the top LED will switch off if both GPS and RF reception are good. If there are issues regarding GPS or RF reception, the top LED will blink as explained above, but with a time-out of 5 seconds.
Dashboard Installation
- Ensure the top sticker of the RaceLink Club has a clear view to the sky and the surrounding area of the vehicle.
- Install both the GPS and RF antennas as high as possible, with a clear view to the sky.
- Avoid placing the RaceLink Club next to other RF antennas; maintain at least a 1-meter distance.
- Find a location on your dashboard where you can clearly see the lights of the X2 RaceLink Club.
- Position the unit to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
Installation Examples:
CAR: The unit is typically mounted on the dashboard or steering wheel column.
KART: The unit is typically mounted on the dashboard.
BIKE: The unit is typically mounted on the handlebars or dashboard.
MX: The unit is typically mounted on the handlebars or front plate.
