Overview of Button Functions
The Monster Airmars XK007 features intuitive touch controls for managing your audio experience.
- ① Right Ear Touch Area: Primary control for music playback, volume, and calls on the right earbud.
- ② Left Ear Touch Area: Primary control for music playback, volume, and voice assistant on the left earbud.
- ③ LED Indicator: Displays charging and connection status.
- ④ Microphone: For clear voice calls.
These air conduction headphones allow you to enjoy music, calls, and games with stereo sound while remaining aware of your surroundings, making them ideal for office use, travel, and driving.
Control Description
Power On
- The earphones automatically power on when removed from the charging case.
- To power on manually, press and hold the touch area on either earphone for 2 seconds (requires separate operation for each earphone).
- Indicator: White light solid for 3 seconds, then white and orange lights flash alternately.
- Prompt Tone: "Power on".
Power Off
- Earphones automatically power off when placed back into the charging case.
- To power off manually, press and hold the touch area on either earphone for 5 seconds (requires separate operation for each earphone).
- Earphones automatically power off after 5 minutes of Bluetooth disconnection.
- Earphones automatically power off when the battery is depleted.
- Indicator: Orange light flashes.
- Prompt Tone: "Bluetooth is preparing to shut down".
Connecting to Bluetooth (BT)
- Initial Pairing: When first used, the left and right earphones pair with each other automatically within 3 seconds of powering on.
- Device Pairing: After powering on, earphones enter pairing mode (white and orange lights flash alternately) with the prompt "Waiting for connection". Turn on Bluetooth on your device, search for "Monster Airmars XK007", and select it to pair.
- Reconnection: Earphones automatically pair and reconnect to the last connected device when removed from the charging case.
- Successful Pairing: In power-on state, the headset enters search pairing mode. The white light flashes every 5 seconds. For first-time connection, manual confirmation on the device may be required.
- Prompt Tone: "Bluetooth paired successfully".
Disconnect Bluetooth
- Manually disconnect via device settings or by moving out of range.
- Indicator: White and orange lights flash alternately.
- Prompt Tone: "Waiting for connection".
Music Control
- Play/Pause: Double-click the touch area on either the left or right earphone.
- Previous Song: Triple-click the touch area on the left earphone.
- Next Song: Triple-click the touch area on the right earphone.
Volume Control
- Volume Up: Single-click the touch area on the right earphone. A prompt tone sounds at maximum volume.
- Volume Down: Single-click the touch area on the left earphone.
Voice Assistant
- Press and hold the touch area on either earphone for 2 seconds and release to activate the voice assistant. Press and hold again for 2 seconds to exit.
Call Handling
- Answer/Hang Up: When receiving a call (white light flashes quickly), double-click the touch area on either earphone to answer. Double-click again to hang up.
- Reject Call: When receiving a call, press and hold the touch area on either earphone for 2 seconds to reject.
Restore Factory Settings
- While the earphones are powered on, click the touch area five times.
- Indicator: White and orange lights flash alternately, indicating successful reset.
- Prompt Tone: "Waiting for connection".
Low Battery Reminder
- When battery level drops to 20%, the orange light flashes every 2 seconds.
- A "dong dong" prompt tone sounds every 60 seconds.
Charging
- Earphones Charging: Place earphones in the charging case. The earphone's orange light stays solid while charging and turns white when fully charged, then turns off after 1 minute.
- Charging Case (Charging): The charging case's orange light flashes slowly while charging and stays solid when fully charged.
- Charging Case (Not Charging): If the charging case is not actively charging but has power, the white light on the case is solid when earphones are charging and turns off when earphones are fully charged.
Chargers and Batteries
Charger Specifications: Before charging, ensure your charger meets requirements. Recommended output voltage is DC 5V ± 0.25V, and output current is 100mA-500mA. Over-voltage can damage the headset.
WARNING: Use only approved chargers. Using unapproved chargers may void warranty and cause danger. If a charging cable was included, connect to a 3C certified charger or computer. Avoid severe impact or collision, which can damage internal components and the battery.
Battery Care
- The headset uses a built-in, non-removable rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove it.
- If not in use for an extended period, store in a dry, ventilated place and charge once a month.
Charging Process
- When earphones show a solid orange light and low battery prompts, they need charging. Place them in the charging case.
- Plug the charger into an AC power outlet.
- The charging case indicator light flashes orange during charging. If charging doesn't start, disconnect and reconnect the earphones and charger. The orange light on the case changes from flashing to solid when fully charged. Disconnect the charger from the power outlet and case.
- Actual talk and standby times may vary based on usage settings and environment.
Wearing Instruction
Rotate the headset to the appropriate angle to experience the best results.
Correct Fit: Ensure the earphone speaker is positioned on the cheekbone in front of the ear, not inside the ear canal.
