Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this Mestic MW-120 Semi-Automatic Washing Machine. This product features a special cabinet integration technology, a plastic casing that prevents rust, and is relatively lighter and more space-saving than other twin-tub washing machines. Its new technology with a large wave pulsator and water flow ensures less twisting of clothes, better cleaning, and improved washing effect. Functions include water inlet, sprinkling, spin-dry, and water flow, saving time, labor, and water.

The machine is designed for ease of use and durability, offering efficient washing and spinning capabilities.

Washing Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the machine on a flat, level surface.
  • Ensure the power outlet has a safety ground connection.
  • Lay down the overflow hose.
  • Use the water inlet hose to connect the water tap to the water inlet.
  • Adjust the water level based on the type of clothing material and its weight.
  • Turn on the power.

Washing

  • Set the "wash & drain selector switch" according to the material type and weight of clothes.
  • Set the "wash & drain selector switch" to the wash position.
  • Set the "wash timer", place clothes into the tub, adjust the water level to the proper position, and add the correct amount of detergent.
  • Set the "wash timer" to start the washing cycle.
  • After washing, set the "wash & drain selector switch" to the drain position to empty the water.

Spinning

  • After washing, connect the water inlet hose to the spin tub water inlet for 20-30 seconds.
  • Spin the clothes for 1-5 minutes according to the "spin timer" process, repeating once or twice.

Rinsing

  • After spinning, the spin tub will stop. Open the spin cover and transfer clothes from the spin tub to the wash tub to prepare for rinsing.
  • Repeat the washing process but do not add any detergent.

Troubleshooting

Problem Reason Solution
The pulsator is too slow Power cut or switch off Switch on the power

Belt pulley has become loose Tighten the belt
Pulsator is blocked Remove the block
The pulsator does not rotate Belt is loose Tighten the belt or renew it

The clothes in the spin dry tub is unbalanced Replace the clothes in the tub
There is something jammed between the pulsator and the wash tub Remove the jammed object(s)
Water leaks from the wash tub Wash tub was not connected tightly to the hose Reconnect and tighten the hose
Spin-dry basket does not rotate The slight switch is in loose contact Adjust the contactor of the switch
The fixed screw of spin dry basket or shaft coupling is loose Tighten the screw
The fixed screw of spin dry basket or shaft coupling is loose Remove the textile
The spin tub does not drain Brake dragline is loose Tighten the dragline
Something had cropped into the space between spin tub and spin dry basket Remove the object

Points of Attention

  • If a problem cannot be resolved, please contact the Service Center.
  • For your own safety, ensure that the ground connection is correct.
  • Never put your hands into the spin tub while it is working.
  • Never wash textiles containing volatile materials to avoid machine damage or water blockage due to stains.
  • The timer should always be turned clockwise.
  • If abnormal sounds/movements occur during operation, stop the machine and check (refer to troubleshooting).
  • When washing, the water temperature should be below 60°C to prevent plastic components from deforming.

Maintenance

After use, pull out the plug to prevent accidents.
