Camera Overview
The trail camera features the following components:
- 1. LCD Screen: Displays camera status and settings.
- 2. LED IR Flash: Infrared LEDs for night vision illumination.
- 3. Lens: Captures images and videos.
- 4. Up/Video Button: Navigates menus upwards or switches to video mode.
- 5. Down/Photo Button: Navigates menus downwards or switches to photo mode.
- 6. PIR Sensor: Detects motion to trigger recording.
- 7. OK/Shot Button: Confirms selections or takes a photo/starts recording.
- 8. Menu Button: Accesses the camera's settings menu.
- 9. Right Button: Navigates menus to the right or selects options.
- 10. Playback Button: Enters the playback mode to view recorded files.
- 11. DC Port: Connection for an external DC power source.
- 12. Tripod Socket: Standard thread for mounting on a tripod.
- 13. Battery Slot: Compartment for installing batteries.
- 14. Power/Mode Switch: Controls the camera's power and operational mode (OFF, TEST, ON).
- 15. USB Port: For connecting the camera to a computer for data transfer.
- 16. TF Card Slot: Slot for inserting a Micro SD (TF) card for storage.

How to Start the Camera?
- Remove the protective foil from the camera lens and screen.
- Install 4 x 1.5V AA batteries and insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB, Class 6 or higher recommended).
- Switch the Power/Mode Switch to "TEST" mode.
- Press the "MENU" button to enter the settings menu. The current settings will be displayed on the LCD screen.
- Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through settings. Press "OK" to enter an option or confirm a selection. Use Up/Down buttons to adjust values and "OK" to save. Press "MENU" to exit the current menu or setup.
- It is recommended to format the memory card, reset settings, and set the correct time and date before initial use. If default settings are acceptable, you can proceed directly to "ON" mode.
- After configuring parameters to your preference, switch the Power/Mode Switch to "ON" mode to begin automatic photo or video capture when motion is detected.
Warm Tips
- Always switch the camera power to OFF before inserting or removing SD cards or batteries.
- If using an external power source (6V DC, minimum 1.5A), do not remove the internal batteries. Connect the external power source to the DC Port.
- Photos are saved in JPG format, and videos are saved in AVI format.
- When the memory card is full, the camera will stop recording unless the "Endless Capture" function is enabled. If enabled, the oldest file will be overwritten, and recording will continue.
- To remove the SD card, gently push it in first, then pull it out. Do not force it.
Basic Operation
Turn On and Off the Trail Camera
- OFF Mode: This is the safe mode for actions like replacing the SD card or batteries, or transporting the device. Switch the Mode Button to "OFF".
- ON Mode: The camera will automatically capture photos or videos based on its current settings when triggered by the PIR sensor.
- TEST Mode: Allows you to check and change camera settings using the built-in LCD screen.
Change Setting in TEST MODE
The TEST mode is used to configure the camera's operation:
- Press the "MENU" button to display setup options on the LCD screen.
- Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to scroll through parameters.
- Press the "OK" button to save the selected setting.
- Press the "MENU" button to exit the setup menu.

Mode
Sets the camera's capture mode:
- Photo: Captures photos when motion is detected.
- Video: Captures videos when motion is detected.
- Photo&Video: Captures both photos and videos when motion is detected.
Options: [Photo] / [Video] / [Photo&Video]
Photo Resolution
Sets the resolution for still photos:
Options: [12MP: 4608x2592P] / [8MP: 3840x2160P] / [5MP(3072x1728P)] / [3MP(2304*1296P)] / [2MP (1920x1080P)] / [1MP(1280x720P)]
Photo Series
Determines how many photos are taken in sequence per trigger:
Options: [1 photo] / [2 photos in series] / [3 photos in series]
Video Resolution
Sets the resolution for video recordings:
Options: [1920x1080] / [1280x720] / [720x480] / [640x480] / [320x240]
TL Video Resolution
Sets the resolution for Time Lapse videos:
Options: [3072x1728P] / [2304x1296P]
Video Length
Sets the duration of each video clip when motion is detected:
Options: 3-60 seconds or 1-10 minutes
Audio Recording
Enables or disables audio recording during video capture:
Options: [On] / [Off]
Shot Lag
Sets the time interval the camera waits before reacting to subsequent motion detection after an initial recording. During this interval, no images or videos are recorded to prevent excessive file creation for the same event.
Options: 3-60 seconds or 1-60 minutes
IR Distance
Sets the detection distance for infrared motion sensing:
Options: [Near] / [Middle] / [Far]
Sensitivity Motion Sensors
Adjusts the sensitivity of the motion sensor. 'High' is recommended for areas with little interference (e.g., interior), 'Middle' for normal interference (e.g., exterior), and 'Low' for high interference. Temperature can affect sensitivity; 'High' is suitable for warm environments, and 'Low' for cold environments.

Target Recording Time
Allows setting a specific time window for the camera to be active. The camera will operate only within the stated start and stop times and remain in standby otherwise.

Time Lapse
Configures time-lapse photography:
- [Normal]: Takes pictures at a set time interval (e.g., one photo per hour). Useful for observing slow processes like plant blooming over 24 hours.
- [TL Video]: Sets the interval time for time-lapse video creation, ranging from 3 seconds to 24 hours. Photos captured at intervals are converted into a video.
- [Off]: Disables the time-lapse function.

Language
Sets the display language for the camera's interface:

Endless Capture
Enables or disables continuous video recording in a loop. When the memory card is full, the oldest file is replaced. If OFF, recording stops when the card is full.

Time & date
Sets the camera's date and time:
Date format options: dd/mm/yyyy, yyyy/mm/dd, mm/dd/yyyy.
Time format options: 24h, 12h.
Use Right button to select an item, Up/Down buttons to adjust values, and OK button to confirm.
Options: [Set time&date] / [Time format] / [Date format]
Photo Stamp
Adds a timestamp to photos:
Options: [Time&date] / [Date] / [Off]
Password Protection
Sets a four-digit power-on password for the camera (digits 0-9 or letters A-Z). If forgotten, resetting the camera will restore factory settings.
Options: [On] / [Off]
Beep Sound
Enables or disables button click sounds:
Options: [On] / [Off]
Format Memory Card
Deletes all data permanently from the memory card:
Options: [Yes] / [No]
Serial NO.
Sets a unique four-digit serial number for the camera (digits 0-9 or letters A-Z).
Options: [On] / [Off]
Reset Settings
Restores the camera to its factory default settings, including password and serial number:
Options: [On] / [Off]
Version
Displays the camera's firmware information.
Take Photos, Record Video, Playback
To manually operate the camera for taking photos, recording videos, or playback:
- Switch the Mode Button to "Test" mode.
- Take Photos: Press the "Capture" button (or equivalent, likely the OK/Shot button) to switch to photo mode, then press the "Shot" button (OK/Shot button) to take a picture.
- Record Video: Press the "Video" button (Up/Video button) to switch to video mode. Press the "Shot" button (OK/Shot button) to start recording. Press the "Shot" button again to stop recording.
- Playback: Press the "Playback" button to enter the playback interface. Use the Up/Down buttons to scan through photos or videos. When viewing a video, press the "OK" button to play it. Press "OK" again to pause. Press the "Menu" button to stop playback. Press the "Playback" button again to exit playback mode.
Playback Menu
- Delete current file: Deletes the currently viewed photo or video. Options: [Cancel] / [Delete].
- Delete all files: Deletes all photos and videos from the memory card. Options: [Cancel] / [Delete].
- Activate slide show: Plays back photos in a slideshow format, with each photo displayed for 3 seconds. Press the "OK" button to stop the slideshow.
- Write protect: Locks files to prevent accidental deletion. Options: [Write-protect current file] / [Write-protect all files] / [Unlock current file] / [Unlock all files].
Download Files To The Computer
Using a Card Reader
- Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a card reader. Connect the card reader to your computer.
- Open "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer". Locate and double-click the removable disk icon representing the memory card.
- Copy image or video files from the memory card to your computer.
Connecting the Camcorder to a PC by the USB Cable
- Connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. Turn on the camera; the screen should display "MSDC".
- Open "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer". A "Removable Disk" should appear in the drive list. Double-click this icon to view its contents. All files are stored in the "DCIM" folder.
- Copy the photos or files to your computer.
