Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of this quality AURIOL product. This user manual is an integral part of the product and contains important information regarding safety, setup, and disposal. Please read all instructions carefully before using the device. This weather station with multisensor provides comprehensive meteorological data for your home.

Product Overview

The AURIOL Weather Station with Multisensor system consists of a main station and a wireless outdoor sensor. It displays indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, rainfall, and provides weather forecasts.

Main Station

Diagram A shows the main weather station unit from the side and front, featuring a display screen and control buttons on the left side. Diagram B illustrates the main unit connected to a power adapter (16) and shows the battery compartment (5) on the back, with batteries (15) being inserted. Diagram E displays the main unit's screen showing time (10:30:49), date (SUN 20/1), moon phase, weather icons (sun, clouds, rain, storm, snow), pressure (1000 hPa/mb), indoor temperature (32°C HI, 20°C LO), feels like temperature, outdoor temperature (23.6°C), humidity (63%), wind speed (300 km/h), wind direction (arrow pointing to S), and daily rain rate (30.5 mm). Diagram I shows a finger pressing button 3 on the top of the main unit.

Wireless Outdoor Sensor

Diagram C shows the outdoor sensor assembly, including a rain gauge (27), wind speed cups (17, 18, 19), wind direction vane (20), temperature/humidity sensor housing (25), and mounting bracket system (23, 24). Diagram D highlights buttons on the sensor: RST (30), LED (31), PUSHER (32), and the battery compartment cover (34). Diagrams F and G illustrate the assembly steps for the outdoor sensor, showing how parts like the support rod (22) and mounting bracket (21) connect to the base (23). Diagram H provides a close-up of the sensor's top, showing the rain gauge (28), wind cups (18), and wind vane (20).

Setup and Installation

Wireless Sensor Placement

For optimal performance, place the wireless sensor:

  • Within 150 meters (open space) of the main station.
  • In an open area with at least 15 meters clearance in all directions.
  • On a stable platform or mount at a height of 1.5 meters above ground.
  • Ensure the solar panel faces south for accurate wind direction readings.
  • Use a compass (not included) to orient the sensor correctly (North indicator N [19] should point North).
  • Ensure the sensor is level using the built-in bubble level (18) for accurate rain measurements.

Main Station Setup

Powering the Main Station:

  • AC Adapter: Connect the included AC adapter (16) to the main station (7) and a power outlet. This provides continuous power.
  • Battery Backup: Install 3 x 1.5V AA batteries (15) in the battery compartment (5) on the back of the main station. This is used for data backup when the AC adapter is disconnected.

Pairing the Wireless Sensor:

The main station automatically searches for the wireless sensor upon initial power-up. If the outdoor temperature (43) and humidity (42) are not displayed after 3 minutes, or if you need to re-pair:

  1. Press and hold the Channel button [9] for 3 seconds until the signal reception icon animates.
  2. The main station will search for the sensor for 3 minutes. Once paired, the wireless signal icon will appear.

Operation and Features

Display Information

The main station display shows various data points:

  • Time & Date: Displays current time (24-hour format by default) and date. It synchronizes automatically with the DCF time signal.
  • Moon Phase: Shows the current moon phase.
  • Weather Icons: Indicates predicted weather conditions (Sunny ☀️, Partly Cloudy ☁️, Cloudy ☁️, Rainy ?️, Stormy ⛈️, Snowy ❄️). The snow icon appears if outdoor temperature is below -4°C and rain or storms are predicted.
  • Barometric Pressure: Displays current pressure, historical trends, and a graph. Units can be set to hPa, inHg, or mmHg.
  • Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Displays current readings for inside the main station.
  • Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Displays current readings from the wireless sensor.
  • Feels Like Temperature: Calculated temperature based on actual temperature, wind, and humidity.
  • Wind Speed & Direction: Shows current wind speed and direction.
  • Rain Rate: Displays daily rainfall totals.
  • Forecast: Predicts weather for the next 12 hours based on barometric pressure trends.

Time and Date Settings

The time is automatically set via the DCF radio signal. Manual adjustments for time zone, DST, and calendar format are available.

  • DCF Signal: The main station synchronizes with the DCF time signal nightly. A radio tower icon indicates successful reception.
  • Manual Settings: Access settings by pressing and holding button [14]. You can adjust time zone, date/month format, language, temperature units (°C/°F), pressure units, wind speed units, and rain units.

Temperature and Humidity

Displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. Units can be set to Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).

Wind and Rain Measurement

The station measures wind speed, gust speed, average wind speed, and wind direction. It also records daily rainfall and rain rate.

Weather Forecast

The forecast is calculated based on barometric pressure changes and is intended for local, short-term prediction. It is not a substitute for professional meteorological services.

Alarms

Set alarms for high/low indoor/outdoor temperature, high wind speed, and frost warnings (when outdoor temperature is between -1°C and +3°C).

Budík (Alarm Clock)

The main station has two independent alarms. You can set the time, repeat schedule (weekdays, weekends, daily), and activate the snooze function.

  • Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press [3] to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes.

Data Logging and Trends

The station records maximum and minimum values for temperature and humidity. Trend indicators show whether values are rising, falling, or stable.

Channels

The main station can support up to 4 wireless sensors. You can cycle through sensor data using button [9].

Night Mode

Adjustable night mode settings allow for dimmed display brightness during specific hours.
