VisiLogic Software Features
The VisiLogic software provides a comprehensive environment for PLC programming and application development. Key features include Hardware Configuration for intuitive setup of controllers, I/Os, and COM channels; Ladder Programming for rapid drag-and-drop element placement; HMI Application development for creating displays with a rich image library; Alarms for built-in screens to alert staff; and Trend Graphs for real-time dynamic value display.
Smart Utilities
- Remote Access: View and control a PLC directly from a PC via local or remote connection. Key features include viewing HMI panels and operating them with PC keyboard/mouse, and viewing/exporting operand and data table values.
- Remote Operator: Simultaneously view and operate HMI panels of multiple PLCs in multiple locations.
- DataXport: Create data logs from Data Tables and operand values in PLCs. Harvest data on demand or by time/date, export to Excel/.csv, and automatically email files.
- UniDownload Manager & UniDownloader: UniDownload Manager installs applications in multiple PLCs. UniDownloader installs applications in a single PLC. Both create compressed VisiLogic/U90Ladder applications (.udc files) for secure installation.
- SD Card Suite: Remotely access and manage SD cards and their data. Browse a remote PLC's SD card, read/write data, view contents (Trends, logs, alarm history, data tables), and export to Excel.
- UniVision Licensing: Safeguard PLC application security by embedding unique licenses in the PLC, enabling the application to run only on licensed PLCs.
- UniOPC Server: Exchange data between Unitronics PLCs and OPC-supported software, compliant with OPC foundation standards.
- UniDDE: Enable data exchange between Unitronics PLCs and software supporting Microsoft Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) protocols, like Excel.
