Approvals and Warranty

The unit is AHRI Certified, CSA International Certified, and tested according to US DOE procedures. It is approved for installations from 0 - 4500 ft. and meets ENERGY STAR® certification standards. The warranty includes a limited lifetime warranty for the Duralok Plus™ Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger in residential applications and limited ten years in non-residential applications. All other components have a limited five-year warranty in residential installations and a limited one-year warranty in non-residential installations. California Specifics: Furnaces may not meet South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1111 and San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) Rule 4905 NOx emission limits in certain areas. However, they are approved by the California Energy Commission and meet California Nitrogen Oxides Standard (NOx) limits of 40 ng/J.

Heating System Details

Lennox Duralok Plus™ Heat Exchanger Assembly: Features a primary heat exchanger and secondary condenser coil assembly with a multi-pass crimped seam design, constructed of heavy-gauge, aluminized steel for efficient expansion and contraction.

Lennox Designed Flue Condensate Trap Assembly: For field installation outside the conditioned air stream, allowing for easy cleaning and winterizing.
Inshot Burners: Aluminized steel burners provide efficient, trouble-free operation, mixing air and gas for proper combustion. The assembly can be removed as a single component for service.
SureLight® Hot Surface Ignitor: Offers tough, reliable, long-life performance with a silicon nitride ignitor protected by a steatite block.
Two-Stage Gas Control Valve: A 24-volt redundant combination control for manual shut-off, automatic electric valve, and gas pressure regulation.
Two-Speed Combustion Air Inducer: A permanent split capacitor (PSC) heavy-duty blower that prepurges the heat exchanger and safely vents flue products. It operates only during the heating cycle and uses dual pressure switches to prove blower operation.
Flame Rollout Switches (2): Factory installed on the burner box for protection against abnormal operating conditions, featuring manual reset.

Direct Vent / Non-Direct Vent Sealed Combustion System

The furnace features a sealed combustion system, allowing installation in either Direct Vent or Non-Direct applications. In Direct Vent, combustion air is supplied from outdoors and flue gases are discharged outdoors. In Non-Direct Vent, combustion air is supplied from indoors and flue gases are discharged outdoors. Lennox has approved specific venting systems as alternatives to PVC vent pipe.

Flue Coupling: Assists with exhaust flue piping connection and servicing.
Termination Kits: Facilitate installation of combustion air intake pipe and flue exhaust pipe. Various kits are available for different venting configurations (Concentric, Flush-Mount, Wall-Close Couple).

Controls

SureLight® Integrated Furnace Control: Manages all furnace operations, including pre-purge and post-purge cycles, and safety controls like flame rectification. It includes a watchguard circuit and supports optimal performance with a high-quality, digital two-stage thermostat.
Furnace Input Staging Options: Two-Stage (Conventional) determined by thermostat demand; Single-Stage (Conventional) with factory settings for 2nd-stage heat ON delay.
Display LED: Provides alpha-numeric information for diagnostics and system status. Diagnostic codes are stored in non-volatile memory.
