IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances, including the following:

Always observe the following to reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire, or injury:
OPERATION
· Read all instructions before using the product. · Use only a 220 - 240 volt outlet. · Do not use the product if the power cord or plug is damaged or if the connection
to the wall outlet is loose. · Periodically remove dust from the plug. · When removing the power plug, always hold the plug and never pull on the cord.
Failure to do so can cause a short circuit resulting in electrical shock or fire. · Be careful not to damage the power cord. Failure to do so can cause electric
shock, heat generation, or fire. · Do not remove the plug when your hands are wet. · Be sure to remove the power plug before performing maintenance, when
removing and attaching and replacing the filter and when not using for a long time. Failure to do so can cause a short circuit resulting in electrical shock or fire. · If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, a Sharp authorized Service Centre or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Contact the nearest Service Centre for any problems, adjustments, or repairs. · Do not repair or disassemble the product yourself. · Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the Air Inlet or Air Outlet. · Do not expose the product to water. Doing so can cause a short circuit or electrical shock. · This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
INSTALLATION
· Do not use this product near gas appliances or fireplaces. When the product is operated with gas appliances in same room, Ventilate a room periodically, otherwise it may cause Carbon monoxide poisoning.
· Do not operate the product in rooms where aerosol insecticides are present. Do not operate the product in rooms where there is oily residue, incense, sparks from lit cigarettes, or chemical fumes in the air.
· Keep the product away from water. Do not operate the product in places where it may get wet, such as a bathroom.

MAINTENANCE
· Be cautious when cleaning the product. Strong corrosive cleansers can damage the exterior.
CAUTION
OPERATION
· Do not block the Air Inlet or Air Outlet. · Always operate the product in an upright position. · When moving the product, use the handle on the back of the product. · Do not move the product when it is in operation. · If the product is on easily damaged flooring, an uneven surface, or thick-piled
carpet, lift it up when moving. · Do not operate the product without the filters properly installed.
INSTALLATION
· Do not place the product near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters, or where it may come into contact with steam.
MAINTENANCE
· Clean the exterior with a soft cloth only. Do not use volatile fluids or detergents. The product surface may be damaged or cracked with Benzine paint thinner or polishing powder.
· Do not scrub the Back Panel hard during its maintenance. · Do not wash and reuse the HEPA filter.
Doing so will not improve filter performance and can also cause electric shock or operating malfunctions.
NOTE
What to do if the product interferes with radio or TV reception
If the air purifier interferes with radio or television reception, try one or more of the following measures: · Adjust or reposition the receiving antenna. · Increase the distance between the product and the radio or TV. · Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the radio or
TV receiver. · Consult the dealer or a qualified radio or TV technician.

INSTALLATION
· Avoid locations where furniture, fabrics, or other objects can come in contact with the product and interfere with the intake and outtake of air.
· Avoid locations where the product is exposed to condensation or drastic changes in temperature. Appropriate room temperature is between 0 35 ºC.
· Place the product on a level and stable surface with sufficient air circulation. Strong wind or dust through the window may prevent the product's air purifying performance and efficacy. When placed on heavy carpet, the product may vibrate slightly.
· Avoid locations that generate grease or oily smoke. Doing so can cause the product exterior to crack.
· The dust collecting ability of the product is effective even when the product is as close to 3 cm from the wall, the surrounding walls and floor may get dirty. Please place the product at a distance from the wall. The wall directly behind the air outlet may become dirty over time. When using the product for an extended period of time at the same location, periodically clean the walls adjacent to it.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
Please read before operating your new Air Purifier
The air purifier draws in room air through the Air Inlet, circulates it through a Pre-Filter and a HEPA Filter inside the product, and then discharges it through the Air Outlet. The HEPA Filter can remove 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns that pass through the filter. Some odours absorbed by the filter will break down over time, causing additional odours. Depending on usage conditions, and especially if the product is used in environments significantly more severe than a normal household, these odours may become noticeable sooner than expected. If these odours persist, replace the filter.
NOTE
· The air purifier is designed to remove air-suspended dust. The air purifier is not designed to remove harmful gases such as carbon monoxide contained in cigarette smoke.

BEFORE FIRST USE Always be sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet.

· To maintain the quality of the filter, it is installed in the product and packaged in a plastic bag.

1 Remove the Back Panel (PreFilter).

3 Place the filter within the product.
Do not install the filter backwards or the product will not operate properly.

By continuously discharging strong airflow cycles in 60 minutes, the product effectively removes airborne dust, pollen, mold and allergens from the air as they are drawn through the filter system.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE Always be sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet.
· To maintain optimum performance of this air purifier, please clean the product including the filter periodically.
MAIN UNIT
Wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
NOTE · Do not use volatile fluids.
Benzine, paint thinner, polishing powder, etc. , may damage the surface.
· Do not use detergents.
Detergent ingredients may damage the product.

BACK PANEL (Pre-Filter)

Back Panel

Gently remove dust from the Back Panel, using a vacuum cleaner attachment or similar tool.
NOTE
Do not apply excessive pressure, when scrubbing the Back Panel.

NOTE How to clean hard to remove dirt

1. Add a small amount of kitchen detergent to water and soak for about 10 minutes.
2. Rinse off the kitchen detergent with clean water. 3. Completely dry the filter in a well-ventilated area.

HEPA FILTER

Gently remove dust from the HEPA Filter with a vacuum

cleaner attachment or similar tool.

NOTE
· Do not WASH in water and DRY in the sunlight. · Perform maintenance only on the side with the tag.
Do not clean the opposite side; otherwise, the filter will be damaged. The filter is fragile, be careful not to apply too much force.

Replacement timing When REPLACE FILTER Lamp turns on*.
* The REPLACE FILTER Lamp will turn on after approximately 17,500 hours. (2 years × 24 hours = 17,500)
Filter life varies depending on the operation mode.
After the filter is replaced, connect the power plug to the wall outlet and press the Power ON/ OFF Button, then REPLACE FILTER Button for 3 seconds.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before calling for service, please review the Troubleshooting list below, since the problem may not be the product malfunction.

SYMPTOM Dust and smoke are not removed.
The discharged air has an odour.

REMEDY (not a malfunction)
· Clean or replace the filter if they appear to be heavily soiled. (Page 6,8,9)
· Check if the plastic bag is removed from the filter. (Page 6)
· Check to see if the filter are heavily soiled. Replace the filter.

Smell from a new product and/or filter.

· Immediately after removing the plastic bag, a slight odour may occur. This odour is not harmful for filter performance or human exposure.

Standby Power

When the product's power plug is inserted in a wall outlet it consumes standby power in order to operate electrical circuits. To conserve energy, unplug the power cord when the product is not in use.

FUNKTIONSPRINZIP
Bitte lesen, bevor Sie Ihren neuen Luftreiniger benutzen
Der Luftreiniger saugt Raumluft durch den Lufteinlass ein, lässt diese durch einen Vorfilter und einen HEPA-Filter im Produkt zirkulieren und gibt sie dann durch den Luftauslass wieder in den Raum ab. Der HEPA-Filter kann 99,97 % der Staubpartikel mit einer Mindestgröße von 0,3 Mikron, die den Filter passieren, entfernen. Einige der vom Filter absorbierten Gerüche werden womöglich erst im Laufe der Zeit aufgespalten, was zu zusätzlichen Gerüchen führen kann. Je nach Einsatzbereich, besonders in geruchsintensiven Umgebungen, können die Gerüche im Vergleich zum Hausgebrauch schon früher verstärkt auftreten. Wenn diese Gerüche weiterbestehen, ersetzen Sie den Filter.

MANTENIMIENTO
· Limpie el exterior solamente con un trapo suave. No utilice líquidos volátiles ni detergentes. La superficie del producto puede dañarse o agrietarse si se utiliza benceno, disolventes de pintura y polvo para pulir.

INSTALACIÓN
· Evite lugares con presencia de muebles, tejidos u otros objetos que puedan entrar en contacto con el producto e interferir en la entrada y la salida de aire.
· Evite usar el producto en lugares en los que pueda resultar expuesto a condensación o cambios drásticos de temperatura. La temperatura ambiente adecuada se sitúa entre 0 y 35 °C.
· Coloque el producto sobre una superficie nivelada y estable con suficiente circulación de aire. El viento o polvo procedente de una ventana abierta puede afectar al rendimiento y la eficacia de la purificación del aire. Si coloca el producto sobre una alfombra gruesa, es posible que la unidad vibre ligeramente.
· Evite lugares con presencia de grasa o humo grasiento. De lo contrario, se pueden producir grietas en el exterior del producto.
· El producto puede captar el polvo incluso si se encuentra a una distancia de tan solo 3 cm de la pared, pero las paredes y el suelo circundantes pueden ensuciarse. El purificador de aire capta el aire de la estancia a través de la entrada de aire, hace circular el aire a través de un prefiltro y un filtro HEPA en el interior del producto, y luego descarga el aire a través de la salida de aire. El filtro HEPA es capaz de eliminar el 99,97 % de las partículas de polvo con un tamaño de tan solo 0,3 micras que lo atraviesan. Algunos olores absorbidos por el filtro se descomponen con el tiempo y dan lugar a otros. Dependiendo de las condiciones de uso, en particular si el producto se utiliza en entornos mucho más exigentes que el uso doméstico normal, estos olores pueden volverse más intensos en menos tiempo de lo previsto. Si los olores persisten, cambie el filtro.

La duración del filtro varía en función del modo de funcionamiento. Tras reemplazar el filtro, conecte el enchufe a la toma de la pared y pulse el botón ENCENDER/APAGAR y, a continuación, pulse el botón REPLACE FILTER (SUSTITUIR FILTRO) durante tres segundos.

SÍNTOMA El polvo y el humo no se eliminan.

REMEDIO (no se trata de una avería)
· Limpie o cambie el filtro si parecen estar muy sucios. (Consulte la página 6,8,9)
· Compruebe si se ha retirado la bolsa de plástico del filtro. (Consulte la página 6).
· Compruebe si el filtro está muy sucio. Sustituya el filtro.

Olor procedente de un nuevo producto o filtro.

· Inmediatamente tras retirar la bolsa de plástico, puede percibir un ligero olor. Este olor no resulta dañino para el rendimiento del filtro ni para la exposición humana.

Consumo en modo de espera

Cuando se introduce el enchufe del producto en una toma de pared, la unidad funciona en modo de espera para que los circuitos eléctricos funcionen. Para ahorrar energía, desenchufe el cable de alimentación cuando no se utilice el producto.

INSTALLATION
· N'utilisez pas cet appareil près d'appareils à gaz ou de cheminées ouvertes. Lorsque le produit est utilisé avec des appareils à gaz dans la même pièce, veillez à ventiler une pièce régulièrement, sinon il pourrait provoquer une intoxication au monoxyde de carbone.

ENTRETIEN
· Nettoyez l'extérieur avec un chiffon doux uniquement. N'utilisez pas de liquides volatils ou de détergents. La surface de l'appareil peut être endommagée ou craquelée par du diluant pour peinture à base de benzène ou de la poudre de polissage.
· Ne frottez pas le panneau arrière trop fort durant l'entretien. · Ne pas laver et réutiliser le filtre HEPA.

INSTALLATION
· Évitez l'utilisation dans des emplacements où des meubles, des tissus ou autres objets peuvent entrer en contact avec l'appareil et interférer avec l'entrée et/ou la sortie d'air.
· Évitez l'utilisation dans des emplacements où l'appareil est exposé à de la condensation ou des changements radicaux de température. La température ambiante appropriée se situe entre 0 et 35 ºC.
· Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane et stable avec une circulation d'air suffisante. Un vent fort ou de la poussière à travers la fenêtre peuvent empêcher le produit de purifier l'air et d'être efficace. Lorsqu'il est placé sur un tapis épais, l'appareil peut vibrer légèrement.
· Évitez les endroits qui génèrent de la graisse ou de la fumée huileuse. Cela risquerait de provoquer des fissures à l'extérieur de l'appareil.
· La capacité de collecte de la poussière de l'appareil est efficace même lorsqu'il se trouve à de 3 cm du mur. Les murs et le sol environnants peuvent se salir. Veuillez placer l'appareil à distance du mur. Le mur situé directement derrière la sortie d'air peut se salir avec le temps. Lorsque vous utilisez l'appareil pendant une période prolongée au même endroit, nettoyez périodiquement les murs adjacents.

PRINCIPE DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Veuillez lire ces instructions avant d'utiliser votre nouveau purificateur d'air.
Le purificateur d'air achemine l'air de la pièce par l'entrée d'air, le fait passer à l'intérieur de l'appareil par un pré-filtre, un filtre désodorisant et un filtre HEPA, puis l'évacue par la sortie d'air. Le filtre HEPA peut arrêter 99,97 % des particules de poussière, jusqu'à une taille de 0,3 microns, passant par le filtre. Certaines odeurs absorbées par le filtre se dissipent avec le temps, causant des odeurs supplémentaires. En fonction des conditions d'utilisation, et surtout si le produit est utilisé dans des environnements beaucoup plus rudes que dans le cas d'un ménage normal, ces odeurs peuvent se manifester plus tôt que prévu. Si ces odeurs persistent, remplacez le filtre.
REMARQUE
· Le purificateur d'air est conçu pour éliminer les poussières suspendues dans l'air. Le purificateur d'air n'est pas conçu pour éliminer les gaz nocifs tels que le monoxyde de carbone contenu dans la fumée de cigarette.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION Assurez-vous toujours de débrancher le cordon d'alimentation de la prise murale.

· Pour maintenir la qualité du filtre, celui-ci est installé dans l'appareil et emballé dans un sac en plastique.

En déchargeant continuellement de puissants cycles de flux d'air en 60 minutes, le produit élimine efficacement la poussière, le pollen, les moisissures et les allergènes de l'air lorsqu'ils sont aspirés à travers le système de filtration.

REMARQUE
· Ne LAVEZ pas dans l'eau et ne SÉCHEZ pas au soleil. · Ne procédez à la maintenance que sur le côté sur lequel
l'attache est présente. Ne nettoyez pas le côté opposé ; sinon, le filtre sera endommagé. Le filtre est fragile, faites attention à ne pas appliquer trop de pression.

Avant d'appeler le service après-vente, veuillez vous référer à la liste de dépannage ci-dessous, le problème pouvant ne pas être lié à une panne.

· Nettoyez ou remplacez les filtres s'ils paraissent très sales. (Page 6,8,9)
· Vérifiez si le sac en plastique a été retiré du filtre. (Page 6)
· Vérifiez si les filtres sont très sales. Remplacez le filtre.

Odeur d'un nouveau produit et/ou d'un filtre.

· Immédiatement après avoir retiré le sac en plastique, une légère odeur peut se faire sentir. Cette odeur n'est pas nocive pour la performance du filtre ou l'exposition humaine.

Alimentation de secours

INSTALLAZIONE

INSTALLAZIONE
· Non utilizzare l'unità vicino o su oggetti caldi, come una stufa o un termosifone, o dove potrebbe venire in contatto con del vapore.
MANUTENZIONE
· Pulire l'esterno soltanto con un panno morbido. Non usare fluidi o detergenti volatili. L'unità principale potrebbe subire danni o crepe causate da benzina, diluente per vernice e polvere per lucidare.
· Non strofinare con eccessiva energia il pannello posteriore durante la manutenzione.
· Non lavare e riutilizzare il filtro HEPA. Una tale operazione non migliorerà il rendimento del filtro e potrebbe anche causare shock elettrico o malfunzionamenti.

CARTAMODELLO
· Evitare luoghi in cui mobili, tessuti o altri oggetti possano entrare in contatto con l'unità e interferire con l'ingresso o l'uscita dell'aria.
· Evitare luoghi in cui l'unità possa essere esposta a condensa o a variazioni drastiche della temperatura. La temperatura appropriata della stanza è 0-35ºC.
· Collocare il prodotto su una superficie stabile e a livello con sufficiente circolazione dell'aria. Forti venti o polvere dalla finestra potrebbero impedire l'operazione di purificazione dell'aria e l'efficacia del prodotto.
· Evitare luoghi che generano fumo da grasso o olio. In caso contrario, l'involucro esterno dell'unità principale potrebbe spaccarsi.
· La capacità di raccolta della polvere dell'unità principale è efficace anche quando essa è a una distanza dal muro di 3 cm, ma le pareti circostanti e il pavimento potrebbero sporcarsi. Collocare l'unità principale a distanza dalla parete. La parete direttamente dietro lo sbocco dell'aria potrebbe sporcarsi nel corso del tempo. Quando si utilizza l'unità esterna per un lungo periodo di tempo in uno stesso posto, pulire periodicamente le pareti adiacenti a essa.

PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO
Si prega di leggere prima dell'utilizzo del vostro nuovo purificatore d'aria
Il purificatore incamera l'aria della stanza dalla presa d'aria, la fa passare all'interno dell'unità attraverso un pre-filtro, un filtro deodorizzante e un filtro HEPA e poi la rilascia attraverso lo scarico d'aria. Il filtro HEPA rimuove il 99,97% delle particelle di polvere fino alla grandezza di 0,3 micron che passano attraverso il filtro. Alcuni odori assorbiti dai filtri si libereranno nel corso del tempo, causando odori aggiuntivi. A seconda delle condizioni di uso, e in particolare se l'unità viene usata in ambienti significativamente più complessi di un normale ambiente casalingo, questi odori potrebbero notarsi prima del previsto. Se questi odori persistono, sostituire i filtri.
NOTA
· Il purificatore d'aria è progettato per rimuovere polvere sospesa e odori, ma non gas dannosi (per esempio, monossido di carbonio contenuto nel fumo di sigaretta.)

INSTALLATIE
· Plaats het product niet in de buurt van of boven hete voorwerpen, zoals een kachel of oven, noch op plaatsen waar deze aan stoom kan worden blootgesteld.
ONDERHOUD
· Reinig de buitenkant alleen met een zachte doek. Gebruik geen vluchtige vloeistoffen of reinigingsmiddelen. Het oppervlak van het product kan beschadigd raken of barsten als u verfverdunner met benzeen of schuurpoeder.
· Vermijd hard borstelen bij het onderhoud van het achterpaneel. · De HEPA-filter kan niet worden gewassen of opnieuw worden gebruikt.
Als u dit wel doet, worden de filterprestaties niet verbeterd en het kan eveneens resulteren in elektrische schokken of storingen.

OPMERKING
Wat u moet doen als het product de radio- of tv-ontvangst verstoort
Als de luchtreiniger de radio- of televisie-ontvangst verstoort, voer dan een of meerdere van de volgende maatregelen uit: · Pas de ontvangstantenne aan of positioneer deze opnieuw. · Vergroot de afstand tussen het product en de radio of tv. · Sluit de luchtreiniger aan op een stopcontact in een andere stroomgroep dan de
groep waarop de radio- of televisie-ontvanger is aangesloten. · Raadpleeg uw dealer of een gekwalificeerde radio- of tv-monteur.
INSTALLATIE
· Vermijd plaatsen waar meubels, stoffen of andere objecten in contact kunnen komen met het product en de in- en uitlaat van lucht kunnen verstoren.
· Vermijd plaatsen waar het product wordt blootgesteld aan condens of grote temperatuurswijzigingen. Een geschikte kamertemperatuur ligt tussen 0 en 35ºC.
· Plaats het product op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond en zorg dat een goede luchtcirculatie mogelijk is. Sterke wind of stof door het raam kan de luchtzuiverende werking en de doeltreffendheid van het product belemmeren. Als u het product op een zwaar tapijt plaatst, dan kan het product licht trillen.
· Vermijd plaatsen waar vet of olieachtige rook ontstaat. Als u dit niet doet, kan dit ertoe leiden dat er scheurtjes in de buitenzijde van het product ontstaan.
· De stofverzamelingsfunctie van het product is zelfs effectief als de afstand tussen het product en de wand slechts 3 cm bedraagt. De omringende wanden en vloer kunnen vuil worden. Plaats het product op afstand van de wand. De wand direct achter de luchtuitlaat kan na verloop van tijd vuil worden. Als u het product gedurende langere tijd op dezelfde plaats gebruikt, reinig dan regelmatig de omringende wanden.

BEDIENINGSPRINCIPE
Lees dit alvorens u uw nieuwe luchtreiniger gebruikt
De luchtreiniger neemt via de luchtinlaat de kamerlucht op, laat de lucht achtereenvolgens circuleren door een voorfilter en een HEPA-filter in het product en blaast de lucht dan via de luchtuitlaat weer de kamer in. De HEPA-filter verwijdert 99,97% van stofdeeltjes groter dan 0,3 micron. Sommige geuren die de filters absorberen, worden na verloop van tijd afgebroken waardoor er bijkomende geuren ontstaan. Afhankelijk van de gebruiksomstandigheden, voornamelijk als het product wordt gebruikt in een omgeving die aanzienlijk veeleisender is dan een huishoudelijke omgeving, kunnen deze bijkomende geuren sneller dan verwacht sterker worden. Als deze geuren aanhouden, vervangt u de filters.
OPMERKING
· De luchtreiniger is bedoeld om luchtgedragen stofdeeltjes uit de lucht te verwijderen. De luchtreiniger is niet ontworpen voor de verwijdering van schadelijke gassen, zoals koolmonoxide dat in sigarettenrook zit.

1. Voeg een kleine hoeveelheid keukenreiniger toe aan water en laat gedurende ongeveer 10 minuten weken.
2. Spoel de keukenreiniger weg met schoon water.
3. Laat de filter volledig drogen in een goed geventileerde ruimte.

Verwijder voorzichtig het stof van de HEPA-filter met het borstelhulpstuk van een stofzuiger of een vergelijkbaar gereedschap.

OPMERKING
· Niet WASSEN met water en niet laten DROGEN in het zonlicht.
· Voer het onderhoud alleen uit aan de zijde waar het label zit. Maak de andere zijde niet schoon, anders kan de filter beschadigd raken. De filter is breekbaar, dus pas niet te veel druk toe.

De levensduur van een HEPA-filter en de vervangingssuggesties zijn gebaseerd op de

luchtreiniging in een ruimte waarin 5 sigaretten per dag worden gerookt en waarbij de
