Product Overview

The Kensington MY230 EQ is a rechargeable mouse designed for comfort and versatility, offering both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The package includes the mouse, a USB receiver, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and warranty and compliance information.

Mouse Buttons and Functions

The mouse features:

Left Click: Used for primary selection and interaction.
Scroll Wheel / Middle Click: Used for scrolling through documents and web pages, and can also be pressed for middle-click functionality.
Right Click: Used for context-specific menus and options.

Power Indicator: A light indicates the power status of the mouse.

Connectivity Options

2.4GHz Wireless Connection

Insert the USB receiver into a USB-A port on your computer.
Turn on the mouse using the power switch. The mouse will automatically connect to the receiver.
The power indicator will show a solid green light when connected via 2.4GHz.

Bluetooth Connection

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer.
Turn on the mouse using the power switch.
Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for 3 seconds. The power indicator will flash blue.
On your computer, search for Bluetooth devices and select "MY230 EQ" to pair.
The power indicator will show a solid blue light when successfully paired via Bluetooth.

KensingtonWorks Software

Enhance your mouse experience by downloading KensingtonWorks software from kensington.com/software/kensingtonworks/. This software allows for customization of button assignments and other mouse settings.

Follow the on-screen instructions for installation and setup, typically involving a 1-2-3 step process.

Battery Status and Charging

Low Battery: When the battery level is below 10%, the power indicator will flash red.

Charging:

Connect the USB-A to USB-C cable to the mouse and a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
The power indicator will show a solid red light while charging.
Fully Charged: When the mouse is fully charged, the power indicator will turn off.
