Highlights
This Android 13 GMS release provides updates for a wide range of Zebra devices, including the MC20, MC9300, TC8300, VC8300, L10A, RZ-H271, TC52AX, TC52AX HC, CC600, CC6000, TC21, TC21 HC, TC26, TC26 HC, TC52, TC52 HC, TC52x, TC52x HC, TC57, TC57x, TC72, TC77 & WT6300 family of products.
Key updates include sequential Delta updates, the option to use Full Updates for easier migration, and LifeGuard patches incorporating previous fixes. Please refer to the Addendum Section for device compatibility details.

This release includes various software packages for updates and resets:

A Zebra Conversion Package is also available for migrating to Android 13 without data loss.
Security Updates
This build is compliant up to the Android Security Bulletin of June 01, 2025.
LifeGuard Update 13-42-20.00-TG-U00
This update contains security updates, bug fixes, and SPRs. It is applicable for the 13-38-24.00-TG-U00-STD-HEL-04 BSP version.
New Features
- WWAN: Cellular/Wireless Insights (version: 1.0.5) feature implemented.
- Scanning Framework: Added Zebra USB scanner support in TC72/TC77.
Resolved Issues
This release addresses numerous resolved issues, including:
- Improvements to camera app performance.
- Fixes for notification bar behavior.
- Corrections for display size settings.
- Resolution for Haptic feedback feature control.
- Addressing issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and host access.
- Fixes for audio issues during VoIP calls and intermittent connection failures.
- Resolution for Wi-Fi profile deletion after reboots.
- Improvements to device enrollment and network connection handling.
- Fixes for Recent Apps functionality and scanner performance.
- Resolution for issues with Ethernet Static IP retention and battery charge level reporting.
- Correction for memory leaks and trial license period adjustments.
- Updates for SE55 Scan Engine firmware for enhanced performance.
Device Compatibility
The software release has been approved for use on various Zebra devices. For detailed compatibility information and specific part numbers, please refer to the Addendum section of the full documentation.
Known Constraints
Key constraints for this release include:
- Dessert upgrades to Android 13 may result in an Enterprise reset due to encryption changes.
- Upgrading from older OS versions without specific conversion packages or EMM persistence may lead to data wipe.
- DHCP Option 119 feature is currently not supported but is planned for future releases.
- Workstation Connect is not supported in this release.
- Specific issues related to NFC initialization and MX CurrentProfileAction settings are noted, with fixes planned for upcoming releases.
- Scanner and keypad volume restrictions may not persist after the A13 upgrade.
- Staging via NFC is not supported.
