Getting Started: Setup Guide
Follow these simple steps to set up your Garmin DriveSmart™ device:
Step 1: Mounting the Device
First, attach the suction cup mount securely to your vehicle's windshield. Then, connect the Garmin DriveSmart™ device to the mount.
Step 2: Connecting Power
Connect the provided power cable to the Garmin DriveSmart™ device. Plug the other end of the power cable into your vehicle's 12V power socket [12V power socket].
Step 3: Powering On
Once connected to power, the device will turn on automatically. The Garmin logo will appear on the screen as the device boots up. The power button is located on the device itself.
Live Services Integration
To enhance your navigation experience with real-time traffic, weather updates, and other smart features, utilize Garmin's Live Services. This requires the Garmin Drive app on your smartphone.

Live Services work by connecting cloud-based data to your smartphone, which then communicates with your Garmin device, providing up-to-date information while you drive.
