Description
The SR25UBSD3 25U SmartRack Shallow-Depth Rack Enclosure Cabinet is designed to house equipment up to 27 inches in depth. This makes it ideal for storing shallow audio/video components and smaller equipment in areas where floor space is limited. Constructed from steel with a resilient textured powder-coated finish, the SR25UBSD3 features adjustable mounting rails capable of supporting up to 3000 lbs (1360.8 kgs) of equipment within its 25U of rack space.
To ensure the security of valuable equipment, the enclosure includes side panels, a reversible back door, and a reversible, removable front door with locks to prevent unauthorized access. Both the front and rear doors are perforated, allowing for free airflow to keep equipment cool. Vented top panels and an open bottom facilitate the removal of warm air and the intake of cool air through convection. These features also support the installation of standard case fans, such as Tripp Lite's SRFANROOF.
The SR25UBSD3 arrives fully assembled and equipped with removable heavy-duty casters, allowing the fully loaded enclosure to be easily rolled to its desired location. Installing equipment is straightforward due to the square mounting holes and numbered rack spaces. The front and rear vertical rails are adjustable in 1¼-inch increments, ranging from 4 to 27 inches in depth. Users can simply unscrew the rails, slide them to the desired depth, and retighten the screws. The enclosure supports toolless button-mount 0U installation for up to four compatible PDUs and cable managers, simplifying cable routing and reducing clutter.
