Noise Reduction Rating (NRR)
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) selected the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) as the measure of a hearing protector's noise-reducing capabilities. The NRR for the WorkTunes™ Connect Wireless Hearing Protector is 24 dB(A). The NRR may overestimate protection during typical use due to variations in fit, fitting skill, and user motivation. 3M recommends reducing the NRR by 50% or per applicable regulations for estimating noise reduction.
Improper fit reduces effectiveness. Consult enclosed instructions for proper fit.
