Assembly Steps
Step 1
Insert 4x bolts (130646) into the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the main sofa backrest frame. Ensure they are screwed in securely.
Step 2
Two people should carefully lift the assembled sofa backrest frame. Align it with the corresponding slots on the main sofa base frame and gently lower it into place. Arrows indicate the correct alignment and placement.
Step 3
Secure the backrest frame to the base frame. Use the wrench (128632) to tighten 4x nuts (100712) onto the bolts (130646) that pass through both frames. A small clip-like component is also shown, which should be correctly positioned. Note the correct tightening method indicated by the ℹ️ symbol, and avoid the incorrect method shown with a cross [❌].
Step 4
Attach the armrest rails. Insert 2x screws (104321) through the holes in each armrest rail into the corresponding holes on the sofa frame. Use the Allen key (100092) to tighten the screws. Ensure the rail is correctly aligned; an incorrect alignment is shown with a cross [❌].
Step 5
Begin assembling the leg frames. Attach 6x bolts (130646) to the components of the leg frames.
Step 6
Insert 2x dowels/pins (101350) into the designated holes on the leg frame components.
Step 7
Screw in 2x cam lock pins (100498) into the leg frame components.
Step 8
Attach 4x foot pads (10050334) to the bottom of the assembled leg frames.
Step 9
Two people should now attach the first assembled leg frame to the underside of the sofa. Align the leg frame with the pre-drilled holes on the sofa base. Use the wrench (128632) to tighten 2x nuts (100712) onto the bolts (130646) that connect the leg frame to the sofa base.
Step 10
Repeat Step 9 to attach the second leg frame to the other side of the sofa. Use the wrench (128632) to tighten 2x nuts (100712) onto the bolts (130646).
Step 11
Secure the leg assemblies further. Insert 1x cam lock (110837) into the corresponding hole on each side of the sofa frame where the leg assembly connects. Turn the cam lock to engage with the cam lock pin (100498) and secure the connection.
Step 12
Reinforce the leg attachments. Use the wrench (128632) to firmly tighten 4x nuts (100712) onto the bolts (130646) that secure the leg frames. As in Step 3, pay attention to the correct tightening method indicated by the ℹ️ symbol and avoid the incorrect method shown with a cross [❌].
Step 13
The main structure of the sofa is now assembled. The image shows the sofa upright with the backrest cover ready to be attached.
Step 14
Attach the backrest cover. The diagram shows a zipper mechanism on the cover. It also shows fasteners being used to attach the cover to the frame.
