Commercial Cutaway Choices
The 2016 Ford E-Series Super Duty Commercial Cutaway Chassis is offered in a wide range of wheelbases and Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWRs) to satisfy diverse commercial applications. The E-350 Super Duty offers a choice of a 138", 158" or 176" wheelbase, SRW or DRW, with GVWRs from 10,050 to 12,500 lb. The E-450 Super Duty offers a 158" or 176" wheelbase, DRW, and GVWRs of 14,000 lb. (5.4L engine) and 14,500 lb. (6.8L engine). Consult your dealer for specific details.
New For 2016
For 2016, E-350 and E-450 Cutaways equipped with the optional 6.8L V10 engine are paired with the reliable TorqShift® HD 6-speed automatic transmission. This transmission features two overdrive ratios, Tow/Haul Mode, SelectShift® capability, and a standard auxiliary external oil cooler.

- Ambulance Prep Package (47A): Available for E-350 and E-450 with 5.4L and 6.8L engines. GVWRs range from 10,050 to 14,500 lbs.
- School Bus Prep Package (47S): Available for E-350 and E-450 with 5.4L and 6.8L engines. GVWRs range from 10,050 to 14,500 lbs.
- Shuttle Bus Prep Package (47B): Available for E-350 and E-450 with 5.4L and 6.8L engines. GVWRs range from 10,050 to 14,500 lbs.
- Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB) Prep Package (47J): Available for E-350 and E-450 with 5.4L and 6.8L engines. GVWRs range from 10,050 to 14,500 lbs.
- Motorhome Prep Package (47M): Available for E-350 and E-450 with 5.4L and 6.8L engines. GVWRs range from 10,050 to 14,500 lbs.
- Electronic Systems: Available options include SYNC®, Sirius® navigation, and radios with an auxiliary input jack.
- Ford Telematics™ (85C): Powered by Telogis®, this onboard device provides vehicle tracking for location, speed, and idle time.
- CNG/PROPANE (LPG) Prep Package (91G): Available for both 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 Triton® engines, allowing operation on CNG or Propane with an aftermarket upfit.
- A/C Outlet (901): A 110-volt A/C outlet is available, replacing the instrument panel's 12-volt powerpoint. Requires a 155-amp or 225-amp alternator.
Engine Choices
All Ford gasoline engines feature a 97,500-mile scheduled tune-up interval and fail-safe cooling system protection.
- 5.4L Triton® V8 Gas Single Overhead Cam Engine: Delivers 255 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. It is E-85 Flex-Fuel capable.
- 6.8L Triton® V10 Gas Single Overhead Cam Engine: Delivers 305 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.
- 5-Speed Overdrive Transmission: The E-350 and E-450 with the 5.4L V8 are equipped with the 5-speed TorqShift® automatic overdrive transmission, featuring Tow/Haul Mode and a standard auxiliary external cooler.
