General information Please bear this information in mind so that you can get the best out of your appliance. ¡ Observe the recommended quantities,
settings, processing times and other information. "Application examples", Page 12 ¡ Fill the blender jug in the following order: liquids, seeds and nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, leaf vegetables, frozen fruit and vegetables, ice. ¡ Before blending in the blender jug, cut the ingredients into cubes approx. 2 cm in size. For the chopper, cut into cubes of approx. 1 cm. ¡ Use instantaneous switching to blend ingredients only briefly or in intervals.
Setting up the appliance
1. Place the appliance on a stable, level, clean and flat work surface.
2. Adjust the power cable to the required length. To shorten the cord, push it into the cord storage compartment.

The appliance is not working. The mains plug of the power cord is not plugged in. Connect the appliance to the power
supply.
The circuit breaker in the fuse box has tripped. Check the circuit breaker in the fuse
box.
There has been a power cut. Check whether the lighting in your room
or other appliances are working.
Blender jug is not locked. Set the rotary switch to . Place the blender jug on the main unit
and turn clockwise until it engages.
Appliance has a humming sound. The blade is blocked or stiff. Set the rotary switch to . Remove the blockage. Appliance switches off during use.
