1. Verify Emergency Stop Button

Rotate the emergency stop button clockwise to reset it. Ensure it is not activated (pressed in).

Visual: An illustration shows a hand pressing and turning a red emergency stop button clockwise to reset it. [PUSH] button is shown in its active (pressed) state.

Insert the battery by sliding it onto the rails and pushing until it is fully seated. Insert the key into the battery and turn it to the "On" position. Press the Power button located above the EZ-Go Navigation panel. The LEDs will be yellow while the unit is booting. Wait approximately 2-3 minutes for the unit to complete booting, indicated by the phrase "Cart ready" being heard and the LEDs beginning to pulse green.

Visual: An illustration shows a battery being inserted into a cart, a key being inserted into the battery and turned to "On", and the power button being pressed. Text: "Check emergency stop button!" with an arrow pointing to the button. Text: "Make sure battery is well seated." with an arrow pointing to the battery connection. Text: "Turn battery key and verify it is in the ON position." with an arrow pointing to the key.

Visual: A graphic shows the original packaging for the MARC 3 Series, with text: "Please retain original packaging in case future shipment is desired."

2. Program Your First Locations

Note: Your unit may have either a 15-button EZ-Go Navigation Panel (Premium models) or a 6-button EZ-Go Navigation panel (Value models). The instructions provided here use the 6-button panel, but the programming process is identical for both variations.

Press and hold any un-programmed station button (which appears grey) for 3 seconds until you hear a double-beep sound. The station button will then turn green, indicating that programming is complete.

Visual: Two sets of station buttons are shown. The first set shows four grey buttons labeled 1, 2, 3, 4. The second set shows the same buttons, but 1 and 3 are now green. Text: "6-button or 15-button EZ-Go" above the button displays.

TIP: For best results, program destinations that are more than 2 feet away from any stationary objects.

Visual: An arrow indicating "2 feet or more" with directional arrows suggesting movement away from objects.

Manually move the cart to a second location you wish to program. Press and hold any un-programmed station button (grey) for 3 seconds until you hear the double-beep sound.

Visual: Similar to the previous programming visual, showing grey buttons being held and then turning green.

TIP: If you do not see station icons on your screen, press the battery level button to return to the programmable station buttons.

You have now programmed MARC and can put it to work. Press the station button for each programmed key (e.g., buttons 1 and 3 in the example) and MARC will travel to the destination programmed for that button.
