Introduction
This document is the user guide for the Astell Kern Acro BE100 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker. It provides information on product setup, features, operation, and safety precautions.
The descriptions in this guide are based on the product's default settings. Content may differ from the actual product due to specification changes or mobile device compatibility. Failures due to liquid damage are not covered by warranty.

Parts Names
The appearance and engravings on the product may vary depending on manufacturer specifications.
Top Panel Controls:
- Preset: Save up to 6 radio channels.
- Treble: Adjust the treble level.
- Bass: Adjust the bass level.
- Play/Pause: Play or pause playback.
- Power/Volume/Mode: Long press to turn ON/OFF; short press to change mode. Turn the wheel to adjust volume.
- Next Song/Channel: Go to the next song or radio channel.
- Previous Song/Channel: Go to the previous song or radio channel.
Rear Panel Ports:
- Power Port: Connect the power adapter.
- Service Port: For after-sales service only. Do not remove the cover; doing so can cause product failure.
- AUX IN: Connect an external device for audio output.
- Antenna Port: Connect the FM antenna.
? FM radio functions may vary depending on the model. The warranty does not cover defects caused by customer negligence.
Power Management
Connecting the Adapter and Plug:
- Remove the adapter by pressing the bottom of the cover and lifting it up.
- Select the appropriate plug for your country and slide it down until it clicks.
- Change the plug by pressing the bottom and lifting it up.
? Avoid pushing the plug too hard. Check the direction carefully before engaging. Ensure the plug fits your country's outlet.
Connecting Power:
- Connect the included adapter to the [Power] port on the back of the product.
- Select the appropriate plug for your country, connect it to the adapter, and then connect to the outlet.
Power Adapter Specifications: 19V / 3.43A.
? Use only the provided power adapter. Adapters not meeting specifications may cause product failure. Ensure the power port is dry before use.
The adapter may get hot during use, which is normal. Dry the adapter jack thoroughly before charging if it becomes wet. Avoid excessive bending of the adapter jack. Always unplug the power cable from the outlet before disconnecting it from the speaker.
Turning the Device On/Off
Turning On: Press and hold the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel. The front display will show [BT], and the LED under the wheel will light up.
Turning Off: With the power on, press and hold the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel. The display text will disappear, and the LED will turn OFF.
Front Display Modes
The front display shows different text depending on the mode:

Connections
Connecting to a Mobile Device (Bluetooth)
- When powered on, the product automatically enters Bluetooth Pairing Standby mode.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth: [Settings > Connections > Bluetooth].
- Select [ACRO BE100] from the device search results to pair.
Entering Bluetooth Pairing Mode (for devices other than the currently paired one): Press and hold the [Preset] button for 5 seconds or longer. The front display will show [BT P] and enter Pairing Standby.
? Connection images may vary by mobile device and software version. Check volume after pairing. If pairing fails, try entering Pairing Standby again. Keep the speaker and device close (within 10 meters) and ensure no obstacles (walls, people) interfere with the wireless connection. Avoid touching the connected device. Bluetooth shares the 2.4 GHz band with other devices, which can cause interference.
Connecting an External Device (AUX)
- Press the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel to set it to [AUX] mode. The front display will show [Aux].
- Connect the external device to the [AUX] port using a suitable cable.
- Play music on the external device; it will be output through the speaker.
? An audio cable is not provided. Only devices with 3.5mm audio output can be connected. Turning volume too high may damage the speaker unit. Listening for extended periods at full volume can also cause damage. Max 2 Vrms is allowed for Aux-in.
Basic Operations
Button Operations:
- 1. Preset: Bluetooth Mode: Press and hold [Preset] for 5 seconds for Pairing mode. Radio Mode: Save up to 6 channels.
- 2. Treble: Press [Treble] to adjust treble level (6 levels: 0-5).
- 3. Bass: Press [Bass] to adjust bass level (6 levels: 0-5).
- 4. Previous Song/Channel: Go to the previous song (Bluetooth) or channel (Radio).
- 5. Play/Pause: Play or pause music/radio.
- 6. Next Song/Channel: Go to the next song (Bluetooth) or channel (Radio).
- 7. Power/Volume/Mode: Long press to turn ON/OFF. Short press to change mode (BT > FM > AUX). Turn wheel for volume.
? FM radio functions may vary. Do not use pointed objects on buttons. Touch buttons accurately and avoid rapid presses for best operation.
Listening to Music
Connecting to Bluetooth to Listen to Music
- Set the mode to [BT] by pressing the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel. The front display shows [BT].
- After Bluetooth pairing, play music on your mobile device.
- Use mobile device or speaker buttons for playback controls (Pause, Play, Next, Previous).
Connecting an External Device to Listen to Music
- Set the mode to [AUX] by pressing the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel. The front display shows [Aux].
- Connect the external device to the [AUX] port with a suitable cable.
- Music played on the external device will output through the speaker.
Listening to Radio
- Set the mode to [FM] by pressing the [Power/Volume/Mode] wheel. The front display shows [FM].
- Press the [◀] or [▶] button to change frequency (0.1 MHz steps). The front display shows the new frequency.
- Press and hold [◀◀] or [▶▶] to find and go to an available frequency.
- Press the [ II ] button to pause/resume radio playback.
Saving a Radio Channel
- Go to the desired frequency and press and hold the [Preset] button.
- The frequency will blink on the front display with 'P' before it, indicating it's saved. Up to 6 channels can be saved.
Listening to a Saved Radio Channel
- In [FM] mode, press [Preset] to cycle through saved channels. The display shows the frequency with [P].
- Use [◀◀] or [▶▶] to navigate through saved channels.
Deleting a Saved Radio Channel
If all six presets are saved and you try to save another, the display shows [FULL]. Delete a stored preset to save a new one.
- Go to the frequency to delete and press and hold the [Preset] button.
- The frequency will blink, the 'P' will disappear, and the channel will be deleted.

Safety Precautions
Product:
- Do not insert metal objects or flammable debris.
- Do not place heavy objects on the product.
- If the product gets wet, do not turn it ON. Wipe dry with a soft cloth and take it to a service center. Water ingress damage may not be repairable and may incur fees regardless of warranty.
- Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures (0°C ~ 40°C / 32°F – 104°F).
- Do not store or use in hot, humid, or dusty/smoky places (e.g., saunas).
- Do not use on blankets, electric blankets, or carpets for extended periods.
- Do not place near fire sources or microwaves.
- Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or alter the product yourself.
- Keep away from magnetic objects (magnets, TVs, monitors, speakers).
- Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents on the product.
- Do not drop the product or expose it to strong shocks or vibrations.
- Do not press multiple buttons simultaneously or press buttons too hard.
- Do not block the rear vent.
- Do not place fire sources like candles on the product.
- Do not install or use near heat-generating devices (radiators, stoves) or in enclosed spaces.
Other:
- Avoid using during thunderstorms to reduce electric shock risk.
- Do not listen to music at excessive volume for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Device won't turn on: Check power adapter connection.
- No sound: Check volume (product and connected device), check line-out settings on external device.
- Distorted sound: Check if volume is too high. Adjust treble and bass levels.
- Cannot connect to Bluetooth: Check mobile device Bluetooth settings. Disconnect and reconnect. Move device closer. Move away from interference sources (microwaves, Wi-Fi routers).
- Radio has noise: Adjust antenna position/height. Move the product and check again.
