The ZONEMIX system can be configured for different needs:

• ZONING ONLY: Utilizes the ZONEMIX4 unit for zone-based audio distribution.

• ZONING WITH CONTROL AND PAGING: Combines ZONEMIX4 with wall panels and ZMPS paging stations for comprehensive control and announcements.
• ZONING WITH 3RD PARTY CONTROL: Connects ZONEMIX4 via Ethernet and RS232 for integration with external control systems.
• 8-ZONE SUPPORT: The ZONEMIX8 unit extends capabilities to manage up to 8 distinct audio zones.

ZoneMix Key Features

• Input/Output Mixer: ?️ Allows any shared source to be sent to any zone. Adjustable input and output volume levels. Output modes include Stereo/Mono for ZONEMIX4 and Mono for ZONEMIX8. Inputs and outputs can be renamed for clarity. Each output zone offers high/low pass filters, bass/treble tone control, compressor/limiter, and delay (ZONEMIX4).
• Tone Generator: ♫ Provides built-in Evac, Alert, Intruder, Bell, and Chime tones. Tones can be customized using an SD card.
• Priority: ⚠️ Features Master Override and configurable multi-level priority. Activated by contact closures on the rear panel or via the scheduler. Supports built-in tones, pre-recorded messages, and prioritizes specific audio inputs (1, 2, 6) and local audio.
• Message Player: ? Messages can be triggered from the scheduler or rear GPI inputs. Messages are stored on an SD card (not included) via the front panel and support WAV format.
• Scheduler: ? Triggers global or zone presets, GPO outputs, tones, and pre-recorded messages. Offers recurrence options for daily, weekly, or set periods, supporting multiple messages per day.
• General Purpose Inputs/Outputs (GPIO): ⚙️ ZONEMIX4 offers 4 IOs, while ZONEMIX8 offers 8 IOs. Inputs can trigger messages, presets, muting, and activate the master override. Outputs provide status indication for paging and priority modes.
• Paging: ? Supports up to 16 paging stations per ZONEMIX unit. Features programmable buttons for zone and group paging, and allows triggering of pre-recorded announcements from paging stations or wall panels.
• Input/Output LEDs: ? Green indicates signal present, ? Red indicates clipping, and ? flashing indicates muted status.

Software Designed for Complete Control

The ZONEMIX Control Software is a PC application providing comprehensive management of the ZONEMIX system. It allows for detailed configuration of zones, inputs, outputs, presets, filters, priority modes, and network settings. Connectivity options include integration with wall panels, USB, DSP functions, scheduler, Ethernet, and RS232.

Accessories

Enhance the functionality and user experience with a range of accessories:

• WP4R: 4 Button and Volume Control Knob. Features 4 programmable buttons, a volume control knob, and 3 rear contact closure outputs.
• WP10: 10 Button Control. Offers 10 programmable buttons and 3 rear contact closure outputs.
• WPVOL: Volume Control. Includes a volume control knob with level indication and mute functionality.
• WPBT: Bluetooth Receiver. Equipped with Bluetooth® 5.1, a 3.5mm Aux input, Bluetooth media controls, and is configurable via software for name and PIN.
• WPML: MIC/Line Input. Provides stereo balanced XLR for Mic or Line input, 24V phantom power, Stereo RCA inputs, and a 3.5mm Aux input. It supports portrait or landscape orientation.
• ZMPS: Paging Station. Features programmable buttons for zone and group paging, pre-recorded message playback, and an integrated limiter for voice clarity. It supports up to 16 paging stations.

Customise the Look: Utilize HPM® VIVO™ Cover Plates for aesthetic customization, available in various finishes like White, Silver, Light Grey, Bright Red, Rose Gold, Black, Graphite, Khaki, Pop Blue, Chrome, Copper, Dark Grey, Pop Pink, and Mint.

WP4R Rear Panel: Features Euroblock connectors for easy daisy-chaining and an open collector contact closure (48V, 250mA) for connecting to projectors, blinds, and other devices.

Application Examples

The ZONEMIX system is adaptable to various installation scenarios:

• Accessory Bus 1: For Zone 1, a WP10 can manage source selection, volume, and projector/screen activation. A WPBT provides Bluetooth and local line level source. The Reception area utilizes a ZMPS paging station for announcements with pre-recorded messages.
• Accessory Bus 2: In Zone 2, a WP4R handles source selection and volume adjustment, complemented by a WPBT for Bluetooth and local line level audio.
• Accessory Bus 3: For Zone 1, a ZMPS is used for paging without message activation, alongside a WPVOL for volume control. Zone 3 features a WP4R for source selection and volume, a WPBT for Bluetooth/line input, and another ZMPS for paging.
• Accessory Bus 4: Zone 4 (outdoor area) can utilize a WP4R for source selection and volume, with a WPML providing a local balanced line level input.

Notes: All accessories, including the ZMPS paging station, can be configured with different setups in each zone. Only one local audio source (from WPBT, WPML, etc.) can be utilized on a single bus.
