Park Tool DT-3 Rotor Truing Gauge

Instructions

1. Assemble DT-3 as shown in Figure 1.
2. Mount DT-3 to the left upright arm of the TS-2 Park Tool Professional Truing Stand with socket head cap screw (#133S).
3. Mount the wheel in the truing stand.
4. Adjust the quick release (#929) and indicator gauge (#1758) so the end cap (#569) just clears the edge of the rotor (Figure 2). Thread the lock nut (#1107) against the body (#1755) to stabilize the indicator gauge.
5. Slowly rotate the wheel, looking for bends in the rotor as it passes the end cap. True the rotor as necessary using the DT-2 Park Tool Rotor Truing Fork until straight.
