Care and Cleaning
Clean the rangehood regularly with a mild liquid detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid corrosive chemicals, abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, and steel wool. Grease deposits are corrosive and can cause damage.
In high humidity or coastal environments, clean more frequently. Disconnect from the power source before cleaning. Do not operate without filters.
Aluminum filters
- Clean filters at least once a month; more frequently depending on cooking habits.
- Clean aluminum filters with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- If using a dishwasher, place filters upright to prevent food from falling on them.
- After rinsing and drying, refit the filters.
Removing the aluminum filters:

Replacing the aluminum filters:

Carbon filters (for recirculation mode)
Active carbon filters are disposable and remove grease and odours. Replace them periodically, at least every three months, depending on usage. Saturated filters can limit performance and are flammable. Regular replacement is recommended.
Replacing the light bulb
- Remove the aluminum filters.
- Lightly push the light bulb up and rotate anti-clockwise to remove.
- Replace with a bulb of equal or lower wattage. Refer to the rangehood rating plate for details.
- Refit the aluminum filters.
