Aputure Spotlight Mini: Product Manual and Installation Guide

Brand: Aputure

Introduction

The Aputure Spotlight Mini is a precision projection attachment designed for Mini ProLock fixtures such as the STORM 80c. This compact modifier features interchangeable 19° or 36° lenses* for shaping and focusing light with high accuracy. Constructed with a durable metal body and lightweight fiberglass lens chassis, the Spotlight Mini includes four-leaf shutters for cutting and shaping the beam, a gel holder, a gobo holder, and 10 included M-size gobo patterns. The fixture also supports 360° barrel rotation, enabling flexible adjustment of both shutter position and gobo orientation.

*Only one of the 19° or 36° lenses is included in your purchase.

  1. Insert an M-size Gobo (compatible with both metal and glass types) into the Gobo Holder, as shown in Figure 6.
  2. Insert the Gobo Holder into the Gobo Slot on the Spotlight Mini, as shown in Figure 7.
  3. Ensure the Gobo Holder is oriented correctly for smooth operation—its handle should face the Iris slot for proper alignment.

Note: Some components may deform slightly or show signs of smoke or discoloration after prolonged exposure to high temperatures. This is expected behavior. However, melting plastic parts or excessive smoke is considered abnormal and may indicate a malfunction.
