SolaX Energy Meter DTSU666 CT
User Manual
Please read this manual carefully before use.
Notes and Safety
Warning: Cut off all power of the inverter before installation! Wait for 5 minutes after power off. Danger of high voltage! Danger to life due to high voltage of this machine!
Introduction
Basic features
The DTSU666 CT Meter can achieve energy management together with SolaX three-phase inverters. It applies to 200A systems and below, measuring the import, export, and total power and energy.
System Diagram: A diagram shows a PV array connected to a SolaX inverter (INV), which is then connected to the Energy Meter (DTSU666-CT). The Energy Meter is also connected to the electrical grid and the LOAD.
Terminals and Dimension
Dimensions: The meter has dimensions of 100mm height, 72mm width, and 45mm depth. It features terminal blocks for various connections.
Terminal Layout: A diagram illustrates the terminal layout, showing connections for RS485 (ports 24, 25), Voltage wires (ports 2, 5, 8 for L, port 10 for N), and CT input ports (ports 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9).
Wiring Diagram: Detailed wiring diagrams are provided for both three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire systems, indicating connections for Grid, CT input, RS485, and Inverter.
Supported Cable Size:
- CT cable: ≥5AWG or ≤16mm²
- Communication cable: 17~23AWG or 0.25~1mm²
- AC power cable: 17~23AWG or 0.25~1mm²
Cable Withstand Voltage: 600V

Installation
Step 1: RS485 terminal connection
- Prepare a communication cable.
- Strip the insulation from the communication cable.
- Connect the meter communication cable and inverter with reference to the inverter manual.
- Connect the other end of the communication cable to ports 24 and 25 of the meter.
Step 2: Voltage wire connection
- Connect the L wires with ports 2/5/8 of the meter.
- Connect the N wire with port 10 of the meter.
- Connect the L wires with CTs and insert the CT wires to ports 1/3/4/6/7/9 of the meter respectively.
Note: Use the same color communication cable for the same communication port identifier between the inverter and the meter.
Important: Only authorized personnel is allowed to set the connection.
