This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA GLADHÖJDEN sit-stand desk. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Assemble Desk Frame
Insert the legs into the main frame structure. Ensure they are properly seated.
Step 2: Secure Legs
Attach the legs to the frame using four (4x) bolts (105042). Tighten the bolts securely with the Allen key (100001).
Step 3: Attach Central Support
Connect the central support bar to the frame structure. The diagram shows it fitting into designated slots.
Step 4: Secure Central Support
Fasten the central support bar using two (2x) screws (10095238) and the Allen key (100001). Note: Part number 10095238 is indicated in the diagram but not listed in the provided parts list.
Step 5: Secure Frame Brackets
Attach the frame brackets to the top of the desk frame. Use four (4x) screws (105100) and four (4x) washers (10095246) for this step, tightening with the Allen key (100001).
Step 6: Attach Tabletop Support Brackets
Mount the tabletop support brackets (10102167) onto the top of the desk frame. Use two (2x) screws (105100) and two (2x) washers (10095246) for each bracket, tightening with the Allen key (100001). (Total 4x screws, 4x washers used in this step).
Step 7: Position Tabletop
Carefully place the tabletop onto the assembled desk frame. Align the tabletop with the support brackets.
Step 8: Secure Tabletop
Attach the tabletop to the frame. Secure the brackets (10102167) to the underside of the tabletop and the frame using seven (7x) screws (105100) and one (1x) screw (100001). Note: Part number 100001 is indicated as a screw in the diagram, which contradicts its listing as a bracket in the parts list. Follow the diagram's indication for this step.
Step 9: Attach Height Adjustment Component
Install the part with holes (10094489) onto the height adjustment mechanism located on the underside of the tabletop. Secure it with one (1x) long screw (10094489) and the Allen key (110438).
Height Adjustment
The GLADHÖJDEN desk features adjustable height. To change the desk height:
- Locate the adjustment lever on the side of the desk frame.
- Pull the lever to unlock the height mechanism [unlocked].
- Lift or lower the tabletop to your desired position.
- Release the lever to lock the tabletop in place [locked].
- Ensure the mechanism is securely locked before placing any weight on the desk.
Safety Information

- Maximum weight capacity for the adjustable part of the tabletop: 10 kg (21 lb).
- Maximum total weight capacity for the entire desk: 50 kg (105 lb).
