Quick Start Guide

Basic Operation

Power On / Off

Press and hold the function knob for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit ON or OFF.

Switch Playback Mode

Single press the function knob to switch between VINYL, VINYL STREAM, and BLUETOOTH modes.

Adjust Volume

Rotate the function knob to adjust the volume.

Playback Modes

VINYL: Play vinyl through built-in speakers, RCA output, or headphone output. Ring Color: Solid WHITE
VINYL STREAM: Play vinyl through external Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Ready to Pair: Flashing WHITE
Connected: Solid WHITE
BLUETOOTH: Play music from a Bluetooth device (smartphone). Ready to Pair: Flashing BLUE
Connected: Solid BLUE (2 sec) then Solid WHITE

Initial Setup

Place the unit on a flat and level surface and open the dust cover.

Remove the twist tie from the tonearm.

Remove the stylus cover by gently pulling it towards the front of the unit.

Using the included power adaptor, plug in the unit.

Vinyl Mode

Using the function knob, press and hold for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit ON. Press the function knob to make sure it is in Vinyl mode.

Playing a Record

Place a vinyl record on the platter. Release the tonearm from the tonearm rest and raise the tonearm using the lift lever. Move the tonearm over the edge of the record and lower the lift lever to begin playing.

Rotate the function knob to adjust the volume if needed.

Speed Selector Switch

Use this switch to adjust the record speed. If using a 45 RPM record, use the included 45 adaptor.

Auto Stop Selection Switch

If this switch is turned ON, the record will start spinning when the tonearm moves over the record and will stop automatically when playback is finished. If this switch is OFF, the record will automatically begin to spin when the unit is in “VINYL” function mode and will continue to spin after playback is finished.

RCA Line Out

Use the red & white connectors on the back of the unit to connect to an amplifier/stereo device. Be sure to first reduce the volume to a minimum level on the record player and increase volume as needed.

Headphone

Use the headphone output on the back of the unit to connect your headphones/earbuds. Be sure to first reduce the volume to a minimum level on the record player and increase volume as needed.

Notes

Vinyl Stream™ Mode

Playing a vinyl record on an external Bluetooth speaker or headphones.

Using the function knob, press and hold for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit ON. Press the function knob to make sure it is in Vinyl Stream mode. The unit will automatically begin searching for Bluetooth devices (function knob will flash white).

Turn ON your external Bluetooth speaker or headphone and set to pairing mode.

Once paired, the unit will say “Connected” and the function knob will turn solid white.

Use your external device to control the volume.

Notes

Bluetooth Mode

Using the function knob, press and hold for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit ON. Press the function knob to make sure it is in Bluetooth mode. The unit will automatically begin searching for Bluetooth devices (function knob will flash blue).

On your device, turn on Bluetooth and select “EASTWOOD II” in the available Bluetooth device list. The unit will chime and say "Connected", while the function knob will remain blue.

Once paired, the unit will say “Connected” and the function knob will turn solid blue for 2 seconds then turn solid white. Rotate the Function Knob to adjust the volume.

Stylus Replacement

Removing the Stylus from the Tonearm

  1. Place your fingers at the tip of the stylus and push down to the direction “A”. WARNING: Applying force to the stylus may damage or break the cartridge.
  2. Pull the stylus out toward the direction “B”.

Installing the Stylus

(Replacement Stylus # ATN3600L)

  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing toward direction “C”.
  2. Push the stylus up toward direction “D” until it locks at the tip.

Cautions

Note

The stylus should last about 300 hours under normal use. It is recommended that the stylus be replaced as soon as you notice a change in sound quality. 78 RPM records may accelerate stylus wear and may have to be changed sooner.
