Canon Serenar Lenses

A comprehensive overview of Canon's high-quality Serenar interchangeable lenses.

Introduction

Serenar lenses are described as superb achievements in the field of 35mm camera lenses. All factors hampering precision have been ascertained and keenly corrected. Scales are accurately calibrated, and the focusing mount couples directly with the camera's built-in rangefinder. An ultra hard-coating, harder than optical glass, is applied to each lens for sharper, more brilliant pictures in color or black-and-white, and for protecting the lens surface from scratches.
