General Wiring Diagram

This section describes the main wiring connections for the Jensen VM9022 Mobile Multimedia Receiver.

Power and Control Connections:

• Battery: Yellow wire (+)
• Ignition Switch: Red wire
• ACC: Red wire
• GND: Black wire (-)
• Mute: Brown wire (-)
• Antenna Control (ANT.CONT): Blue wire
• Parking Brake Switch (PRK SW): Pink wire (-)
• Reverse Signal (REVERSE): Green/White wire (+)

Audio/Video Output Connections:

• Rear L: Green/Black wire (-), Green wire (+)
• Front L: White/Black wire (-), White wire (+)
• Front R: Grey/Black wire (-), Grey wire (+)
• Rear R: Purple/Black wire (-), Purple wire (+)
• Center: Brown/Black wire (-), Brown wire (+)
• Subwoofer: Blue wire
• Rear Surround L: Red wire
• Rear Surround R: White wire
• Video Out 1: Yellow wire
• Video Out 2: Yellow wire

Input Connections:

• Camera: Yellow wire
• Aux In 1: Red wire, White wire, Yellow wire
• Aux In 2: Yellow wire

Media Module and External System Connections:

• Media Module Cable: Black wire
• NAV Bus
• MZ-TFT Touch Screen: Connected via Media Module Cable (Sold Separately)
• Rear View Video Camera: Connected via Media Module Cable (Yellow wire)
• External A/V System: Connections available through MediaLink

Satellite Radio Connections:

• SAT Radio
• SAT L: White wire
• SAT R: Red wire
• Satellite Receiver Connections: (Refer to specific satellite tuner documentation)

Headphone Connections:

• Headphone Multizone: Red wire, Yellow wire, White wire
• Wireless Headphone: (Optional)

Wiring Example for MediaLink

This section illustrates connecting iPods and Satellite Equipment via the MediaLink.

Connections to Head Unit: SAT Radio, SAT L, SAT R.

• SAT Cable Kit: JXMC or XMDJEN100 (sold separately)
• XM or Sirius satellite tuner: (sold separately)

The MediaLink unit features:

• USB B port
• "Made for iPod" certification
• 3.5mm Audio input
• VIDEO input
• LEFT audio input
• RIGHT audio input

A jLink iPod Cable (Included) is used to connect compatible iPod devices:

• iPod Video
• iPod
• iPod Mini
• iPod Nano

Note: A Gen 5 iPod is recommended for best performance.
