Thanks for using the JY Series Horizontal Flow Packing Machine! Please read the important safety notes carefully before operating the instrument.
1. Safety Notes
- Unauthorized or untrained workers are not allowed to operate this machine.
- Read the manual book carefully before operating this machine.
- Ensure all equipment is installed and tested well before starting; the earthing wire must connect with the machine.
- Ensure all working tools/parts are removed from the conveyor belt before starting.
- Do not touch any electrical parts before power off.
- Workers must stand near the packing machine while the machine starts.
- Keep your hands far away from all parts which have high temperature.
- Keep hands far away from the sealing jaw while the machine is running.
- Do not run the machine over speed.
- Ensure power is off while cleaning/maintaining.
- Do not operate the machine under the influence of tiredness or drunkenness.
- Unauthorized refitting is not allowed without permission from our company.
- Contact JY for any introduction confusion.
2. Feature & Application
The JY Series automatic horizontal wrapping machines are suitable for confectionery, bakery, chocolate, non-food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products, among others. All machines are fully electronic and feature a modular construction, allowing for high levels of flexibility and the handling of a wide range of diversified products. 4. Machine Installation & Power Supply
- This machine should stand on a flat, solid ground, leaving more space for operation and maintenance.
- Keep the machine far away from chemical, acidic, and explosive items.
- Put the packing machine in its final position and adjust its height according to factory requirements.
- Install the product feeding conveyor belt on the packing machine, joint and tighten it with bolts.
- Install the conveyor chain, loosen the hand wheel (left) on the end of the conveyor; put the chain on the gear wheel and insert the finger pusher into the tunnel.

5. Panel Board Introduction & Operation
(1) Panel Board Introduction
The panel features two temperature controllers (Vertical Sealer Temp. Controller and Horizontal Sealer Temp. Controller), a touch screen, and various control buttons.
- Vertical Temp. Controller: Adjusts and displays the vertical sealer temperature. The Temp. Controller Switch turns the vertical sealing part on/off.
- Horizontal Temp. Controller: Adjusts and displays the horizontal sealer temperature. The Temp. Controller Switch turns the horizontal sealing part on/off.
- Touch screen: Displays and allows changes to all parameters.
- Power indicator: Lights up when the main power is on.
- Start: Starts the packing machine (same function as "RUN" on the panel).
- Stop: Stops the machine.
- Cycle stop: The packaging machine will stop at a special setting location (sealing jaw angle).
- JOG: The machine works one time when pressed once.
- Speed controller: Adjusts the packing speed per minute.
(2) Operation
- Power Connection: Insert the electricity plug and switch on the main power switch. Note: The machine uses 220V/50-60Hz; 308V is not allowed. For safety, ensure power is off before connecting cables, and the earthing wire must be installed.
- Film Install: Please follow the film drawing and place the film on each roller.

3. Bag Former Adjust
Please change the bag former width and height depending on the product size.
- Bag former height adjustment: Use adjustment bolt 1-1 and 1-2 to change the height.
- Bag former angle adjustment: Use the adjustment bolt to adjust the bag former angle.
- Bag former width adjustment: Turn the hand wheel to change the bag former width.
