Monitor Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble the monitor:
- When assembling the monitor stand/base, it is recommended not to remove the monitor from the styrofoam packaging (cardboard box).
- Take out all necessary accessories from the inverted part of the styrofoam packaging.
- Remove the inverted styrofoam packaging from the cardboard box and open the opening for the stand assembly. Install the bracket, tighten the supplied screw, and close the VESA cover.
- Attach the base to the bracket, securing it with the supplied screw.
- Lift the packaging with the monitor and safely place the monitor base on a flat floor or table. Finally, remove the styrofoam packaging and the cardboard box.

Getting to Know Your Monitor
Front/Side View
The control buttons on the bottom panel of the monitor are used to adjust image parameters.
- Power Indicator: The power indicator light shows the status of the monitor.
- Power Button: Press this button to turn off the monitor. Press any button to turn it on.
- 5-Way Key: This button is used to enter the on-screen menu. Use it to increase/decrease values or navigate through menu items up/down/left/right.
- Exit Button: Exits the on-screen menu.
Adjusting the Monitor Position
For optimal viewing, position the monitor so that you can see the entire screen, then adjust the angle to your preference. Hold the stand when adjusting the tilt angle to prevent the monitor from tipping over. The tilt angle of the monitor can be adjusted from +20° to -5°. Before swiveling the display, lift it to the upright position, then tilt it back to the desired angle.
The monitor may slightly sway when adjusting the viewing angle.

Powering On the Monitor
To turn on the monitor, press the power button on the monitor. If the power indicator function is activated and an input signal is detected, the power indicator will light up white, indicating that the monitor is on. The power indicator does not light up in power-saving mode.
On-Screen Display (OSD) Controls
Adjusting Settings
You can use the control buttons on the monitor to navigate the menu and make adjustments.
- Game: Customize your gaming preferences.
- Variable Over Drive (OD): Allows the graphics source with Adaptive-Sync support to dynamically adjust the display's refresh rate to the content's standard frame rate for energy-efficient, virtually tear-free, and low-latency display updates. For information on supported graphics processors, minimum PC system requirements, and drivers, please refer to the graphics processor manufacturers.
- Variable Refresh Rate (VRR): Allows the graphics source with Adaptive-Sync support to dynamically adjust the display's refresh rate to the content's standard frame rate for energy-efficient, virtually tear-free, and low-latency display updates.
- ELMB/ELMB SYNC: Reduces motion blur and ghosting. ELMB is disabled if the input signal frequency is less than 85 Hz. ELMB SYNC is supported when VRR is enabled. This feature works best for dynamic games at refresh rates above 85 Hz.
- GamePlus: Game environment settings.
- GameVisual: Selects the display mode.
- Shadow Boost: Adjusts the monitor's gamma curve to deepen dark tones in the image, making dark scenes and objects more visible.
- Image: Adjust image parameters.
- Brightness: Adjusts the brightness level.
- Contrast: Adjusts the contrast level.
- VividPixel: Enhances image contour and creates a high-quality image on the screen.
- HDR Setting: Sets the HDR mode to ASUS Gaming HDR, ASUS Cinema HDR, or Console HDR. HDR brightness can be adjusted if the "Adjustable Brightness" function is enabled.
- ASCR: Select ON or OFF to enable or disable the dynamic contrast adjustment function.
- Aspect Ratio: Selects the image format: Full Screen, Equal, 1:1, 16:9 (24”W), 16:9 (27”W), and 21:9 (34”W). Select "Equal" to display the image according to the source signal's original format.
- Color Filter: Adjusts the blue light emission level from the LED backlight. When the "Blue Light Filter" is activated, the "Racing Mode" parameters are automatically imported. Levels 1 to 3 allow user adjustment of Brightness. Level 4 is an optimized setting that complies with TUV low blue light certification. Brightness is not user-adjustable in Level 4.
- Color: Select the desired color rendering mode.
- Display Color Space: Selects the color space: sRGB, DCI-P3, and Wide Color Gamut.
- Color Mode: Includes three preset color modes (6500K, 7500K, 9300K) and a Custom mode.
- Saturation: Value range from 0 to 100.
- 6-Axis Saturation: Adjusts the saturation of R/G/B/C/M/Y. Range from 0 to 100.
- Gamma: Contains five gamma modes, including 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6. In Custom mode, R (Red), G (Green), and B (Blue) color levels can be adjusted by the user in the range of 0 to 100.
- Input Select: Select the desired input signal source and enable or disable the "Auto Input Detect" function. The monitor's input signal will not automatically switch if "Auto Input Detect" is disabled.
- PIP/PBP Mode: Select PIP, PBP, or Off.
- PIP/PBP Source: Selects the video signal source: USB-C, DisplayPort, HDMI.
- Color Setting: Sets the GameVisual mode for each PIP/PBP window.
- PIP - Size: Selects the image size in PIP mode: "Small", "Medium", or "Large".
- Smart KVM Setup: By launching the Smart KVM function, you can easily connect two computers. Follow these steps to set up the display connection and launch its application: Connect one end of the cable on the monitor (USB-C and DP+USB-B) or (USB-C and HDMI+USB-B) to one of the two computers you are connecting. Functions of the OSD menu and switching the monitor to PBP mode. Warning! One of the PBP sources must be USB-C, otherwise Smart KVM will not launch. Disable "Variable Refresh Rate" and HDR to enable PBP. Windows may prompt you to select "AutoPlay" parameters. Click "Run SmartKVM.exe". Right-click the Smart KVM application and specify the location of each computer to identify the source device. A "Smart KVM Connected" message will appear at the bottom of the screen, indicating you are ready to use the Smart KVM application.
- MyFavorite: Assign functions to the shortcut key, save the current system configuration, or restore the system configuration.
- Shortcut: Assigns a function to the shortcut key.
- Setup Parameters: Loads/saves all monitor parameters.
- Setup System: Adjust system parameters.
- Language: Selects the OSD language. Available options include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, Croatian, Hungarian, Romanian, Portuguese, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Thai, Indonesian, and Ukrainian.
- Sound: Adjusts sound-related parameters.
- Volume: Adjusts the volume level.
- Mute: Toggles the "Mute" function on/off.
- Sound Source: Selects the source from which sound is output to the monitor.
- USB Setup: Sets the activity of Smart KVM, KVM, Type-C data transfer rates, and USB hub in standby mode.
- USB Type-C Charging: Sets the charging power: 65W or 90W. If 90W is selected, the USB hub will be disabled.
- Power Indicator: Enables/disables the LED power indicator.
- Power Lock Key: Locks/unlocks the power button.
- Button Lock: Enable this function to disable all function buttons. Press and hold the navigation button for more than five seconds to cancel the button lock function.
- Power Settings: Selects the power parameter mode. Selecting "Standard Mode" may result in higher power consumption, while "Power Saving Mode" may limit brightness.
- Menu Setup: Adjusts parameters related to the on-screen menu.
- Menu Position: Adjusts the position of the on-screen menu.
- Menu Display Time: Adjusts the display time of the on-screen menu.
- Transparency: Adjusts the transparency of the on-screen menu background from fully opaque to fully transparent.
- DDC/CI: Enables/disables the DDC/CI function.
- DisplayPort Stream: Selects DisplayPort 1.2 or DisplayPort 1.4 according to the DP version of the graphics card.
- DSC Support: Enables/disables the DSC (Display Stream Compression) function.
- Information: Displays monitor information.
- All Reset: Select YES to restore all factory default settings.
