Product Overview
The Argox MP-2140 is a light industrial barcode label printer featuring a durable metal housing and a comprehensive set of functionalities. It is designed to meet mid to low volume printing requirements, offering a print speed of up to 4 inches per second. The printer is equipped with 8MB Flash memory and 8MB SDRAM for smooth and stable operation, supporting a printing width of up to 4.1 inches (104mm). It can be configured for both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing methods.
Key features include easy loading for ribbon and media rolls, a large media bay accommodating media rolls up to 8-inch outside diameter and 1-inch to 3-inch inside diameter cores. It also supports ribbons up to 300 meters in length, with the option for ink-side out or ink-side in winding. A fanfold slot is available for feeding fanfold media through the rear of the printer. The MP-2140 includes multiple paper sensors for various applications and supports easy media size setting without a computer connection. It also offers different media calibration modes to suit diverse needs.
The printer supports standard communication interfaces such as USB, Parallel, and Serial RS-232, and can connect to scanners for standalone operation. Optional accessories include a cutter, stacker, and RTC card. The MP-2140 supports PPLA, PPLB (default), and PPLZ emulations and is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating systems. It is suitable for industrial and commercial applications including logistics labeling, inventory labeling, clothing tags, shipping and receiving, postal and mailing, and medical management.
