Installation Guide
Before You Begin
Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz only) and a power outlet within reach. Plan your desired layout for the rope light.
Step 1: Mounting the Light Strip
Unroll the light strip carefully. Use the provided mounting clips and screws to secure the strip to your desired surface (e.g., eaves, fences, walls). Ensure the strip is taut but not overstretched.

Step 2: Connecting the Power Adapter
Connect the power adapter cable to the end of the light strip. Ensure the connection is secure. Plug the power adapter into a suitable outdoor-rated power outlet.
Note: The power adapter is IP44 rated and should be protected from direct rain.

Step 3: Powering On
Once connected, the light strip may illuminate with a default color or pattern. Refer to the Govee Home App for full control.

Downloading the App

Connecting to the App
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.
- Open the Govee Home app and tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select "H61A8" from the list of devices.
