Charging Function

The NU25 / NU25 UL features an intelligent charging system. Please charge the battery before first use.

Power Connection: Uncap the charging port and use the provided USB-C cable to connect an external power supply to begin charging.

Charging Indication: During charging, 4 power indicators on the top will flash. When fully charged, all 4 indicators will remain steadily lit. Charging time is approximately 1 hour 25 minutes. Standby time after full charge is approximately 12 months.

Operation

Buttons

The headlamp has two buttons: a Power Button (for turning on/off and adjusting brightness) and a MODE Button (for switching light sources).

Turning On/Off

• To Turn On: When the light is off, long press the Power Button for 1 second to access LOW in Mix Mode.
• To Turn Off: When the light is on, long press either the Power Button or the MODE Button for 1 second.

White Light Modes

• Accessing LOW (Mix Mode): When the light is off, long press the Power Button for 1 second.
• Accessing ULTRALOW: When the light is off, double press the Power Button.
• Adjusting Brightness (Mix Mode): When Mix Mode is active, short press the Power Button to cycle through LOW, MID, and HIGH.
• Adjusting Brightness (Spotlight/Floodlight): When Spotlight or Floodlight is on, short press the Power Button to switch between LOW and MID.

Red Light Modes

• To Turn On: When the light is off, long press the MODE Button for 1 second.
• Switching Modes: When Red Light is on, short press the Power Button to switch between CONSTANT-ON and SLOW FLASHING.

Light Source Switching

When the light is on, short press the MODE Button to cycle through the following light sources: Mix → Spotlight → Floodlight → Red Light.

Special Modes (SOS / BEACON)

• To Access SOS: From any status, double press the MODE Button.
• Switching Between Special Modes: When in SOS or BEACON mode, short press the Power Button to switch between them. Double press the MODE Button again to return to the previous status.

Lockout / Unlock

• To Lock: When the headlamp is off, long press both buttons for 2 seconds until the headlamp flashes 3 times. In Lockout Mode, buttons are inactive. Pressing a button will cause a single flash indicating lockout.
• To Unlock: When in Lockout Mode, long press both buttons for 2 seconds again until ULTRALOW mode is activated.
• Automatic Unlock: The NU25 / NU25 UL will automatically unlock when connected to a charger in Lockout Mode.

Power Indication

When the light is off, short press the MODE Button. The corresponding power indicators next to the MODE Button will illuminate for 2 seconds to show the remaining battery level:

Note: Recharge the battery when the output appears dim or the headlamp becomes unresponsive due to low power.

Warnings

1. CAUTION! Possible dangerous radiation! Do not look directly into the light, as it may be dangerous for your eyes.
2. DO NOT disassemble or modify the headlamp. Doing so will cause damage and invalidate the product warranty. Refer to the warranty section for complete details.
3. When storing the product in a backpack, activate Lockout Mode to prevent accidental activation.
4. Recharge the product every 3 months if left unused for a prolonged period.
5. Dispose of the device and batteries in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Warranty Service

All NITECORE® products are warranted for quality. Any Dead On Arrival (DOA) or defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local distributor/dealer within 15 days of purchase. After that, all defective/malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge within 24 months from the date of purchase. Beyond 24 months, a limited warranty applies, covering labor and maintenance costs but not accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty is nullified if:

• The product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed, and/or modified by unauthorized parties.
• The product(s) is/are damaged due to improper use.
