Attentions
- Make sure the device has enough power when updating. Do not unplug the USB disk before the update process is completed and successful.
- The device will change to default settings automatically after updated.
- The firmware updating carries the risk of causing unknown errors. Please do not upgrade the device when you are using it on-site.
How to Check the Device's Firmware Version
Long press the middle button to enter the menu page, select System > Version Info to check the firmware version.
Operations to Update the Pyro S Firmware Version
1. Prepare a USB flash disk with a Type-C connector and storage less than 32GB. Format the USB disk to FAT32.
USB Drive Formatting Example: The USB drive properties window displays the capacity (e.g., 7.49 GB), the file system set to FAT32 (Default), and the allocation unit size set to 4096 bytes. The 'Quick Format' option is checked.
2. Download the firmware to the USB flash disk and ensure it is under the root directory. Do not place it inside any folder.
3. Connect the USB disk to Pyro S via the Type-C port. The device will recognize the USB disk automatically and start updating.
