Using and copying this Software is subject to the acceptance of this agreement. If you choose to refuse the following conditions, please return this Software to the point of purchase for a complete refund. This agreement involves Tecnosoft srl, Via Galvani, 4, 20068, Peschiera Borromeo, Milano, Italy (henceforth called Tecnosoft) and the User (be it a physical or juridical person) for the following software products (henceforth called "TSLog21 Software"): " TSLog21 Software" and any software product accompanying it. Tecnosoft grants the user a non-exclusive right to use a copy of the software on a single computer provided that the user accepts the following conditions. 1. User license. TSLog21 Software is property of Tecnosoft and cannot be copied nor sold without the prior written authorization of Tecnosoft. TSLog21 Software is protected by Italian and European Laws and by International Treaties concerning intellectual properties. 2. Additional licenses. The purchase of additional licenses conveys the right to use TSLog21 Software on a corresponding number of computers at the same time. 3. Exclusion of liabilities. Except for what stated by applicable laws, in no case can Tecnosoft be considered liable for damages or losses, direct or indirect, including, but not limited to, loss or missing income, suspension of activities, loss of information or any other monetary or economical damage, deriving from proper or improper use of TSLog21 Software even if Tecnosoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case, the responsibility of Tecnosoft for such damages will be limited to the price paid for TSLog21 Software. This clause is applied even if the User does not accept TSLog21 Software. 4. Use of Software results. It is User's responsibility to check that results given by TSLog21 Software are correct and appropriate. In no case should TSLog21 Software be used if such use can be threatening to the health or life of human beings. This clause is applied even if the User does not accept TSLog21 Software. 5. Updates. If TSLog21 Software is an update of a previous version, the license is transferred from the old version to the update. Only the update can be used, unless the update is destroyed. 6. Separation of components. TSLog21 Software is licensed as a single product. Components cannot be separated. 7. Limitations. The User cannot convert, decode, decompile or disassemble TSLog21 Software, except for what is explicitly requested by applicable laws. TecnoSoft srl TSLog21 5/11 Introduction Jobs is a feature of the TSLog 21 software for the DeepWave system. It allows to automatically hard print or save a file based on a report's template containing specific data from the software database. The feature is based on a Windows service called TSlog21 Service, an option in the software itself, called Jobs, and templates generated using the Telerik Report Designer tool. 6/11 TSLog21 TecnoSoft srl TSLog21 Service This Windows service, that can be found in the TSLog 21 main folder, is to be installed on a PC that is running when the printing operation is scheduled. What is needed: · a Windows PC/Server that is preferably always on · the aforementioned PC must be able to connect to the Helios or PC where the Tsog 21 database is presented · a DB connector must be installed on the aforementioned PC The service and the DB connectors can be downloaded here: https://tecnosoftdl.eu/public/install/ServiceSetup_1_1_0_1.zip To configure the service and the connectors ask your internal IT service or contact Tecnosoft (assistance@tecnosoft.eu) for support. Note that assistance for this feature configuration or use is not included in standard service contracts and subscritptions and must be quoted separstely. TecnoSoft srl TSLog21 7/11 Jobs configuration It is very easy to configure a Job. Open the Jobs tab under Archive in TSLog 21 and click on Add. 8/11 TSLog21 Configuring a new Job In the Job window you can fill different fields and choose several options: TecnoSoft srl · Name: give the scheduled a job a name to identify it · Server: type in the IP address of the PC where the Service is running · Action: you can select PRINT (hard print a copy of the report, you will need a printer connected), FILE (save a copy of the report in a file format), EMAIL (send the report via Email) · Destination: type in the destination of the acttion. Here is a scheme depending on the chosen action: Action PRINT FILE EMAIL Destination IP address of the printer Path and filename (no extension) Email address · Format: choose the file format, available only for FILE and EMAIL actins. File format must be compatible with the report template you want to use. · Parameters: add here if you have created parameters for the DB inside the report and you want to use them and filter report generation through those. Click on + to add, - to remove. · Report: click on the button to select the report template file. The file must be on the same PC where the service is installed. · Execution time: set when the action must be executed · Enabled: check here if you want to enable or disable the Job, without deleting it. · Repeat: choose how often the action should be repeated (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annually). According to what you choose here the below options will change · Every: set here the number of times the action must take place in the Repeat period (for example, every week, every 2 days and so on). · If you chose weekly you have to set the days of the week when the action must take place. If you chose monthly, chose the day(s) of the week or a specific day number when the action must take TecnoSoft srl TSLog21 9/11 place. If you chose annually, choose a specific cay of the year or identify it using the week days (for example, the first Tuesday of august). · Repeat range: choose the starting and ending day of the Job 8you can select it has no ending date) · Preview: will show when the action will occur When finished click on Ok to save it. 10/11 TSLog21 TecnoSoft srl Report template The template for your report must be generated using Telerik Report Designer that can be downloaded here: https://tecnosoftdl.eu/public/install/Telerik_Report_Designer.zip Online there are available many tutorials to use it but you'll need to have some knowledge of databases and queries. You can draw your own template or ask Tecnosoft to do it for you. Just send a report example in Word or PDF format to sales@tecnosfot.eu to get a quotation.
