SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY For personal safety, always confirm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially hazardous location where the light is to be used. INSTALLING BATTERIES y Loosen the screw on the battery compartment door. (Image 1) y Insert batteries using the orientation markings on the back of the battery compartment door. (Image 2) y Close the battery door fully, then tightening the screw until it is hand tight. CAUTION: Do not cross-thread or strip the screw threads. y Test the operation of the light (see OPERATION below). INSTALLING ON TO A HELMET y Choose the side of the helmet you wish to mount the light on. y Rotate the mount to orient the clamp with thumbscrew on top. y Open the clamp completely and fully seat over helmet brim, ensuring the clamp clears any rubber helmet trim. (Image 3) y Tighten the clamp firmly with included Allen wrench. (Image 4) SETTING THE ANGLE OF THE LIGHT y Twist the light left or right on the vertical pivot until beam pattern is in an ideal position. y The tension on the mount is meant to be firm to maintain the aim. y Once aimed, the mount allows the user to position light above or below the brim by rotating up or down as needed. OPERATION The 5465 has a flashlight push button tail switch with the following lighting modes: CONSTANT-ON FLASHLIGHT Press the flashlight switch until it clicks and then release for constant-on in highbrightness mode. Press and release to turn the light off. SELECT FLASHLIGHT BRIGHTNESS LEVEL Press and hold down the flashlight switch. The flashlight will cycle from high to medium to low and then back up again at a rate of approximately one mode per second. The light will continue to cycle through the modes as long as the flashlight switch is held down. Press and hold from any mode to start the cycle again. Press and release to turn the light off. Rear Green Safety LED The rear green safety LED will remain lit while flashlight is on in any mode. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas fausser le filetage ou briser les filets de la vis. y Tester par la suite le fonctionnement de votre lampe de poche (Voir FONCTIONNEMENT ci-dessous) INSTALLATION DE LA LAMPE SUR LE CASQUE y Choisissez le côté du casque sur lequel vous souhaitez fixer la lampe. y Faites pivoter le support pour que la vis de serrage de la pince soit vers le haut y Ouvrez complètement la pince et placez-la bien à plat sur le bord du casque en veillant à ce qu'elle dépasse complètement le bord en caoutchouc du casque, le cas échéant. (Image 3) y Serrez fermement la pince avec la clé Allen fournie. La lampe continuera son cycle à travers les différents modes aussi longtemps que l'interrupteur du mode lampe de poche est maintenu vers le bas. (Imagen 1) y Inserte las dos baterías en el compartimiento de la batería prestando atención a la orientación de la misma que está marcado en la parte posterior de la puerta del compartimiento de la batería. (Imagen 2) y Vuelva a instalar el tornillo del compartimiento de la batería presionando la puerta completamente cerrada y luego dándole vuelta al tornillo hasta que quede apretado. PRECAUCIÓN: No cruce la banda de rodadura o dañe las roscas de los tornillos. y Prueba del funcionamiento de la luz (ver FUNCIONAMIENTO abajo). INSTALAR EL FORGE EN EL CASCO y Elija el lado del casco en el que desea montar el bastón de luz. y Gire el soporte para orientar la abrazadera con el tornillo de mariposa en la parte superior. y Abra la abrazadera por completo y colóquela sobre el borde del casco, asegurándose de que la abrazadera no toque ningún borde de goma (Imagen 3). y Apriete firmemente la abrazadera con la llave Allen incluida (Imagen 4).
