Introduction
Welcome to the Nu Republic family! This guide provides a step-by-step approach to using your new Nu Republic Creed Ultra Smartwatch.
What's in the Box
Your Nu Republic Creed Ultra Smartwatch arrives in a premium gift box containing the smartwatch, a charging cable, and this User Manual.
The smartwatch is depicted with two variants: one featuring an orange strap and the other a green strap. Both display a watch face showing time, steps (10.491), battery percentage (36%), and other health metrics. The side button is identified with a label: “Button (Long press side button for 3 to 4 seconds till the screen turns on)”.
How to Wear Your Nu Republic Smartwatch
Remove the protective casing from your Nu Republic Smartwatch. Wear it around your wrist, adjusting the strap for a comfortable fit and securing the buckle. Ensure the sensor on the back is close to your skin to accurately gather data.
Charging the Nu Republic Smartwatch
Before first use, ensure the smartwatch battery is fully charged. If the watch does not power on, connect it to the charger using the provided cable. A full charge can provide up to 20 days of usage for the Nu Republic Creed Ultra Smartwatch.
Note: Battery life and charging time may vary based on usage and other factors.
- Plug the USB cable into a power adapter and then into an electrical socket.
- Place the magnetic charger onto the watch's magnetic charging points.
- While charging, the screen will display the time, day, battery percentage, and charging progress.
- Remove the watch from the charging dock once the battery is fully charged.
Warning
⚠️ Do not use a charger exceeding 10W while charging. Avoid using the watch while it is charging. Do not leave the charger connected overnight, as this can degrade the battery and render the smartwatch unusable.
The smartwatch is shown with a magnetic charging dock attached to its back, indicating charging status.
Power On
Press and hold the side button for a few seconds to power on the device.
Power Off
Press and hold the side button for a few seconds to power off the device.
Waking Up the Watch
To conserve battery, the watch screen turns off when idle. Press the side button or select the “Raise to Wake” option in the phone app to turn the screen back on.
Install the Companion App
Download and install the companion app from your smartphone's App Store or by scanning the provided QR code. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.
Android/iOS System Requirements
Requires Android 5.0 and above, or iOS 9.0 and above, with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and above.
Hryfine App Features
The Hryfine app is a lightweight application designed for various wearables, including Nu Republic Smartwatches. It provides detailed activity tracking, such as steps, target goals, distance, and calorie consumption. It also offers health insights like body index, body fat rate, heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen monitoring.
Device Connection & Set-Up
Download the app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store. Search for “Hryfine” or scan the QR code found within the support app or on the wearable itself.
Note: The QR code is typically located in the device's settings.
Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone. Upon opening the Hryfine app, you will be prompted to grant several permissions. You may deny permissions if you are uncomfortable, though some functions may be limited.
Pairing Levels
There are two levels of pairing: connecting via the app and connecting directly via Bluetooth.
Pairing Name: NuR_ultra
- In the app, navigate to the “My” menu and select “Search device”.
- Your Nu Republic Smartwatch will scan for available devices.
- The app will request various permissions; grant access to notifications as needed.
- Once connected, your wearable is successfully linked to the Hryfine app.
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth pairing menu and look for “NuR_ultra” to connect with the Nu Republic Smartwatch.
- After successful connection, you can make/answer calls and listen to music.
- Note: If your phone’s Bluetooth cannot find the Hryfine device, enter the Dual Mode menu on the Nu Republic Smartwatch and set it to ON.
- Note: You cannot make calls without connecting the smartwatch to your phone, but other features remain accessible.
- The Hryfine app automatically saves the smartwatch’s Bluetooth address, runs in the background, and connects automatically.
Initial Setup to Receive Smart Notifications
To ensure optimal performance, allow all necessary permissions for the Hryfine app on your smartphone, including notifications, contact information, and background activity.
- In the support app, go to “Device Settings”.
- Enable notifications for calls, SMS, and other social apps by toggling the relevant switch buttons.
- Note: The app may re-request permissions for:
- Contacts
- Manage Phone Calls
- Access your phone logs
- Send and view SMS messages
- Explore additional features within the Hryfine App and activate them according to your preferences.

Standout Functions & Features
Heart Rate
Access the heart rate measurement interface and tap to begin. Measurement takes approximately 15-30 seconds. For automatic heart rate monitoring, configure it in the app under [Device] > [Automatic Heart Rate] for detailed analysis on both the app and watch.
Note: Automatic heart rate monitoring may reduce battery life.

Telephone Book
Add frequently used contacts from your phone. Once connected via Bluetooth, contacts sync to the watch's phone book, allowing you to initiate calls directly from the watch. Ensure your phone is also connected to the Hryfine device.
Steps
The watch tracks your steps, distance covered, and calories burned. Fitness activity data syncs with the app. Records reset daily at 00:00, with historical data available in the app.
The “Steps” interface displays total steps, distance in kilometers (Km), and calories burned (Kcal), accompanied by a running figure icon.
Sleep
Your Creed Ultra smartwatch records sleep duration, including deep and light sleep stages. Detailed sleep records and graphs are available within the app via the sleep feature, powered by the Intelligent AI Sleep Monitoring Algorithm.
Intelligent AI Sleep Monitoring Algorithm Conditions
- Sleep is measured between 20:00 and 10:00. The watch sensor confirms sleep mode. The watch must not be placed horizontally or on its side on a table; otherwise, sleep data will not be recorded.
- Sleep data is not recorded under the following conditions:
- High-frequency movement within 1 minute is considered waking.
- Continuous movement for over 3 minutes is considered waking, and sleep mode will turn off.
The “Sleep” interface shows sleep duration and stages, accompanied by a moon and clock icon.
Messages
Receive new message notifications from your smartphone, which will vibrate the watch and display the message content. The watch can store up to 5 new messages, with the latest message automatically overwriting the previous ones, including SMS and other notification types.
The “Messages” screen shows incoming notifications with sender and content.
Blood Oxygen
Blood oxygen monitoring utilizes the PPG measurement method to assess blood oxygen saturation via a light sensor. Wear the smartwatch snugly but not too tightly on your wrist to start measuring. Results are displayed in 20-25 seconds and stored in the app.
Note: Results are for personal reference only and not for medical use.
The “Blood Oxygen” interface displays the saturation level (98% SPO2) with a confirmation checkmark.
Music Control
Manage your smartphone's music playback directly from your smartwatch. You can play, pause, skip to the next track, or go to the previous track.
The “Music Control” interface shows playback details and controls.
Sport
- Supports Multi-Sport modes including Walking, Running, Cycling, Skipping, Basketball, Football, Badminton, and Swimming. Press the home button to pause or stop an exercise session.
- Exercise data syncs with the app, allowing detailed review of sports mode records.
- The watch does not have built-in GPS. When using GPS-dependent sports modes, the app will utilize your mobile phone's GPS for movement tracking.

BT Camera
From the main interface, swipe right and tap “BT camera”. Use the camera option on your smartwatch to easily capture photos using your mobile phone's camera.

Stop watch
Tap the start button to begin the timer. You can stop or reset the stopwatch as needed.
The “Stop watch” interface displays elapsed time (00:00:00) with START and RESET options.
Other Features
Additional features include Stopwatch, Alarm, Countdown, Brightness adjustment, Vibrate On/Off, Power saver mode, Factory reset, Power off, Torch, and About.
Alarm
Set alarms via the app. Your watch will vibrate at the scheduled time. Alarms can be controlled on the watch itself.
Sedentary
The smartwatch will vibrate to remind you if no activity is recorded for 1 hour or if step count is low within a specified period. This feature can be enabled or disabled in the pairing app.
The “Sedentary” reminder interface prompts the user to stand up and move.
Drinking Reminder
This feature, when enabled in the pairing app, reminds you to drink water. The time and interval for reminders can be customized.
The “Drinking Reminder” interface shows reminder settings.
Raise Wrist to Wake Screen
The screen automatically lights up when you flip your wrist. You can set the time interval for this feature in the app by navigating to [Device] > [Device setting] > [Raise Your Hand].
Troubleshooting Hryfine App
Hryfine app cannot find the Device
- Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone and the Nu Republic Smartwatch.
- Verify that the Nu Republic Smartwatch or Smartband is powered on.
- Manually select the Nu Republic Smartwatch or Smartband in your smartphone's Bluetooth settings.
The Nu Republic smartwatch keeps on disconnecting on the App?
- Install the latest correct/updated version of the app.
- Refer to the recommended/supported versions for your smartphone and the Nu Republic Smartwatch.
- Restart both your phone and your Nu Republic Smartwatch.
Hryfine app becomes unstable after the recent update
- This often occurs when the support app is updated, but the smartwatch firmware has not yet received compatible updates.
- If this happens, uninstall the app and download an older version of the Hryfine app.
My Nu Republic Smartwatch is not receiving any notifications, like calls and messages
- Check permissions in the support app, specifically under “Message Push”, and enable call and SMS permissions.
- Verify Hryfine permissions in your smartphone's app settings, ensuring the app is allowed to run in the background to receive notifications.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Nu Republic thanks you for choosing our products. To ensure a positive experience, please read the User Manual and contact customer care for warranty details.
Nu Republic warrants that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of original purchase.
This Warranty is subject to the following terms:
- The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser.
- The warranty period is 6 months from the date of original purchase or 12 months from the date of import, whichever is earlier.
- Proof of Purchase/Invoice is required for warranty claims.
- Nu Republic or its authorized representative may repair or replace defective products at their discretion, using same or equivalent reconditioned units.
- Repaired or replaced products will be returned in full working condition. All replaced parts become Nu Republic's property.
- Service location details are available via the customer care helpline. Customers are responsible for bringing the product to a Nu Republic Service Location at their own risk and expense.
Who Pays for What
- NuWorld covers all labor and material expenses for warranty-covered repairs.
- The customer is responsible for transporting the product for repair and any initial shipping charges.
- Nuworld covers return shipping charges for warranty-covered repairs.
The warranty will not be applicable under the following circumstances:
- The product code/serial number or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, or is illegible.
- Deterioration due to normal wear and tear.
- Use contrary to the user manual, rough handling, exposure to liquids (water, sweat, beverages, oils), moisture, extreme environmental conditions, corrosion, unauthorized repairs, use of unauthorized spare parts, accidents, or acts of nature, unless the defect is directly caused by material or workmanship flaws.
- Physical damage to the product surface, including scratches.
- Defects caused by battery short-circuiting, tampering with seals, or using the product for unintended purposes.
- INTENDED USE/LIABILITY: Nu Republic is not liable for damages arising from product misuse as described in this User Manual.
Process to be followed to claim Warranty:
- Raise an escalation by emailing hello@nurepublic.co or calling the helpline at +91-8826257632.
- Ship the product, accessories, original box, and sales invoice.
- The After Sales service center will inspect the product for any abuse, damage, scratches, breakages, or wear and tear.
- Upon approval, the authorized Service Centre will provide a repaired or replacement product free of charge.
- If the same product is unavailable, a similar product of greater value may be offered.
General Terms
All warranty claims are subject to notification to Nu Republic regarding the alleged defect within a reasonable time of occurrence and no later than the warranty period expiry. Nu Republic or its authorized partners are not responsible for any losses resulting from product malfunction. The obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of parts. The maximum claim amount is limited to the product's maximum retail price or purchase price, whichever is lower.
