Europe

This equipment has been tested as a Class A digital device and complies with FCC limits for commercial environments. It may cause interference in residential areas, requiring the user to correct it at their own expense. The product must be connected using a properly grounded shielded network cable (STP).

This digital apparatus complies with CAN ICES-3 (Class A). Connection requires a properly grounded shielded network cable (STP).

Europe (RF Emission)

Safety

This product complies with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 (audio/video and IT equipment safety) and IEC/EN/UL 60950-22 (Information Technology Equipment safety). When using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) must comply with IEEE 802.3af and Limited Power Source (LPS) requirements.

Axis recommends using Axis midspans or Axis PoE switches.

Disposal and Recycling

Dispose of this product according to local laws and regulations at the end of its useful life. Contact your local authority for designated collection points. In the EU, Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) applies. Dispose of in an approved, environmentally safe recycling process. Businesses should contact the supplier for disposal information.

The package contains the following items:

Installation

1. Preparation

1.1 Remove Dome Cover: Lift the dome cover off the camera base. This requires removing 4x TR20 screws.

1.2 Remove Mounting Bracket: Detach a mounting bracket from the camera base. This involves removing 2 screws.

1.3 Remove Component: Remove another component from the camera base, secured by 2x TR20 screws.

2. Mounting Preparation

2.1 Prepare for Mounting: Identify mounting points on the camera base. Use a pencil to mark the location, a drill to create holes, and appropriate screws/anchors. A warning symbol indicates the need to use the correct screw type and length to avoid damaging the product.

2.2 & 2.3 Attach Cover: Illustrations show a protective cover piece being attached to the camera base in two steps.

3. Camera Mounting

3.1 Mount Camera Body: Mount the camera body onto the prepared surface using screws/anchors. Icons for pencil, drill, and screws are shown, along with a warning symbol regarding screw selection.

4. Storage and Connections

4.1 Insert microSD Card: Insert a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card into the designated slot labeled "microSD/-SDHC/-SDXC". An inset view shows the camera base with the microSD card slot.

5. Connections and Assembly

5.1 Connect Network Cable: Connect the RJ45 network cable to the camera's network port. Illustrations show the preparation of the network cable and its connection, with a warning symbol for proper cable management.

5.2 Connect Microphone and I/O: Connect the microphone (?) and I/O cables as shown in the diagrams. Illustrations detail the connection process and cable management.

5.3 Secure Component: Secure a component to the camera using 2x TR20 screws, torqued to 1.0 N m (0.7 lb ft).

5.4 Grounding Connection: Connect the grounding wire to the camera base using a screw, torqued to 1.0 N m (0.7 lb ft). A ground symbol (⏚) is shown.

5.5 Close Camera: Close the camera by placing the dome cover onto the base.

5.6 Software: Icons for "AXIS IP Utility" and "AXIS Camera Management" are displayed on a monitor, indicating software for configuration.

5.7 Attach Dome Cover: Attach the dome cover to the camera.

5.8 Adjust View: Adjust the camera's field of view using the internal mechanism, as indicated by arrows on the camera and a monitor display.

5.9 Adjust View: Further adjustment of the camera's internal mechanism is shown.

5.10 Final Dome Attachment: Attach the dome cover to the camera base using 4x TR20 screws, torqued to 1.0 N m (0.7 lb ft).

6. Disposal

6.1 Disassembly and Disposal: The camera can be disassembled for disposal. A recycling bin symbol (♻️) indicates proper disposal. A checkered flag symbol (?) signifies the end of the installation process.

7. Maintenance and Disposal

7.1 Dome Cover Removal for Disposal: The dome cover can be removed for disposal by unscrewing 2x TR20 screws. A recycling bin symbol (♻️) is shown.

7.2 Dome Cover Reattachment: Reattach the dome cover using 2x TR20 screws, torqued to 1.0 N m (0.7 lb ft). A recycling bin symbol (♻️) is shown.
