Rough-In Installation
Proper rough-in installation is crucial for a seamless finish. Ensure the electrical box is centered and adjust the SeeLess black perforated aluminum brackets to the correct drywall thickness (1/2", 5/8", or 3/4"). Caddy bars are recommended for mounting between studs. Verify that studs are level to ensure the platform is leveled with the drywall. Avoid over-screwing to prevent cracking the gypsum.
Post Install Drywall
After the rough-in, cut the drywall around the platform. Level the drywall with the lower line of the joint on the front of the gypsum platform. Apply fiberglass tape and drywall compound to the joints, sand smooth, prime, and paint for a clean finish. SeeLess suction cups can be used to remove the faceplate.
