QUICK START GUIDE

Product Overview

The smart gateway hub serves as the central control unit for Zigbee devices. Users can design and implement smart application scenarios by adding Zigbee devices. It is compatible with the Tuya platform, enabling connection to all Zigbee devices for home automation, smart energy management, healthcare, and home security systems.

1. Product Description

The device features indicator lights and ports for operation:

Indicator Lights:
Red indicator light: Wi-Fi LED
Blue indicator light: Zigbee LED

Ports and Buttons: The device has a USB-C port for the power supply cable and a Reset button.

2. APP Operation

Preparation for Use

The Tesla Smart app is available for both iOS and Android operating systems. Search for "Tesla Smart" in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the provided QR code to download the app and register or log in to your account.

Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network and has Bluetooth and GPS location services enabled.

Connect the Device

Open the Tesla Smart app and click the "+" sign to add a new device.
Select "Gateways" - "Tesla Smart ZigBee Hub" (follow the step-by-step guide within the app).
Plug the ZigBee Hub into a power source using the USB-C cable.
Initially, both the red and blue indicators will turn on. The red indicator will then start flashing, followed by a brief flash of the blue indicator.
When the blue indicator stops flashing, press and hold the "reset" button for 5 seconds.
Wait for the device to connect to the app.
Upon successful pairing, the blue indicator light will turn off, and the red indicator light will remain on.

Control the Device

Control the ZigBee hub using the Tesla Smart app.

SAFETY TIPS

For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorized changes or modifications to the device are not permitted. The device must only be operated indoors and protected from moisture, vibrations, solar radiation, heat, cold, and mechanical loads.

The device is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it. Keep packaging material away from children, as plastic films/bags and polystyrene pieces can be dangerous.

For power supply, use only the original power supply unit (5VDC/1A) provided with the device.

INFORMATION ABOUT DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

This product is marked with the symbol for separate collection. Disposal must be in accordance with regulations for electrical and electronic equipment (Directive 2012/19/EU). Disposal with regular municipal waste is prohibited.

All electrical and electronic products must be disposed of in accordance with local and European regulations at designated collection points with appropriate authorization and certification. Proper disposal and recycling help minimize environmental and human health impacts. Further information can be obtained from the vendor, authorized service center, or local authorities.
