Assembly Instructions
The following steps detail the assembly of a single drawer. Repeat these steps three times to assemble all three drawers for your SONGESAND chest.
Step 1: Assemble the Drawer Base
Connect two long drawer base panels using four cam lock screws (101345) and corresponding dowels. Ensure the pre-drilled holes align for proper connection.
Step 2: Attach Side Panels
Attach the two side panels to the assembled base from Step 1. Secure them using four cam locks (118331) on each side, ensuring they are tightened to hold the panels firmly in place.
Step 3: Insert Back Panel
Slide the thin back panel into the grooves of the assembled drawer frame. Ensure it fits snugly and is pushed down completely.
Step 4: Attach Drawer Front
Attach the drawer front panel to the assembled drawer box. Use four wooden dowels (145718, 159553) to align and secure the front panel to the drawer box. Ensure a tight fit.
Step 5: Install Drawer Slides
Attach the drawer slides (158673 DL/DR or 158675 DL/DR) to the sides of the drawer box. Use six small screws (146114) per slide, ensuring they are securely fastened. Pay attention to the left (DL) and right (DR) orientation of the slides.
Step 6: Attach Handle
Attach one drawer handle (157426) to the front of the drawer using two handle screws (100408). Ensure the handle is centered and securely fastened.
Once all three drawers are assembled, they are ready to be inserted into the main chest frame (assembly of the main chest frame is typically covered in a separate section or manual, not detailed here).
