- Exercise caution around ignition coils, distributor caps, ignition wires, and spark plugs, as these create hazardous voltages.
- Keep a fire extinguisher suitable for gasoline, chemical, and electrical fires nearby.
- Do not connect or disconnect test equipment while the ignition is on or the engine is running.

Initial Setup:

Key Functions
Programming Function
This function requires connection between the MaxiIM IM608 Pro II tablet and the XP400 Pro.
- Connect the tablet and the XP400 Pro using the included APC001 USB cable.
- Software Update: Connect the key programming tool to the Internet and tap 'Update' in the MaxiIM Job Menu to view and install available updates.
Immobilizer Function
This function requires connection between the vehicle, the MaxiIM IM608 Pro II tablet, and the XP400 Pro.
- Pair up the MaxiIM IM608 Pro II tablet with the VCI device via Bluetooth to establish a communication link with the vehicle.
Wireless Data Printing
To print wirelessly, a PC is required.
- Download and install the Maxi PC Suite from www.autel.com > Support > Downloads > Autel Update Tools onto a Windows-based PC.
- IMPORTANT: Ensure the tool and PC are on the same network (Wi-Fi or wired) as the printer.
- Launch the PC Link application on the PC and navigate to the 'MaxiSys Printer' tab.
- Click 'Test Print' to verify printer functionality.
- On the tool, tap 'Print' on the toolbar. A temporary document is created and sent to the PC.
- If 'Auto Print' is selected in MaxiSys Printer, the document prints automatically.
- If 'Auto Print' is not selected, click 'Open PDF File' to view temporary files, select desired files, and click 'Print'.
