Getting Started and Pairing
To begin using your Hama Spirit Chop earphones, you need to pair them with your Bluetooth-enabled device.
Pairing Process:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or other device.
- The earphones are designed to be discoverable when turned on. The included diagram illustrates a smartphone screen showing 'Bluetooth ON' and 'Hama Spirit Chop' as an available device. A password field may display '0000', which can be used if required for pairing.
Controls and Functions
The Hama Spirit Chop earphones feature touch-sensitive controls for managing music playback, calls, and voice assistants.
- Turn On: Press and hold the touch control surface on each earphone for approximately 2-3 seconds. An indicator will confirm activation.
- Turn Off: Press and hold the touch control surface for approximately 5 seconds. An indicator will confirm deactivation.
- Voice Assistant: Triple-tap the touch control surface to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri or Google Assistant).
- Play/Pause Music: Single-tap the touch control surface.
- Next Track: Double-tap the touch control surface.
- Previous Track: Double-tap the touch control surface.
- Answer/End Call: Single-tap the touch control surface during an incoming call or an active call.
- Reject Call: Double-tap the touch control surface during an incoming call.
Charging
The earphones are charged within their accompanying case. The charging case itself is powered via a micro USB port.
Charging the Earphones and Case:
- Place the earphones into their respective slots in the charging case.
- Connect a micro USB cable to the port on the charging case and a power source.
- Charging Status: The case indicates charging status with battery icons. A battery symbol with a lightning bolt ⚡ signifies 'CHARGING', with an estimated time of 3 hours and 30 minutes for the earphones to fully charge. A full battery icon indicates 'CHARGED', with an estimated time of 2 hours and 30 minutes for the case itself to reach full charge.
Ear Tip Sizes
For optimal fit and comfort, the Hama Spirit Chop earphones include ear tips in three different sizes: Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L). Select the size that provides a secure and comfortable seal in your ear.
